If you are either or both post up in this thread to talk about things related..

I have been hiking/backpacking for almost 20 years with my longest continuous hike being 112 miles in 4 days in Nijmegan, Holland..My next goal is to walk the John Muir trail finishing up on Mt Whitney. I like mostly walking up mountains and live in California where there are plenty..I have also been Geocaching for almost 6 years..
I am not sure if I will get any responses in this thread..but if I dont, that is cool to, I will just post about hikes that I take and put some pictures up so anyone who wants to see can..
Peace

You've been to Nijmegen!

I've been living there on and off for the past 4 years. It's a really cool city.

I take it you've done the Vierdaagse then? Which year?

You know it man..it is one of the things I am most proud of..

This is when I was in the Army in Germany..It was 1988..people lined the streets, drinking and tokin hash every night..really HOT..the bottom of my feet where completly black for a month afterward..from the combat boots I wore..great country and people..been to Nijmegan, never been to Amsterdam..haha

My mate did the vierdaagse last year, while I was staying at his house and going out partying at the zomerfeest evey night. He was ready to collapse by the end of it, and his girl friend had to pull out and required physiotherapy on her feet after the second day.

You should be proud of it, it's no mean feat.

I'd like to have a go at it sometime myself, the trouble is this party is always going on at the same time!
