the road I passed leads back here
it is a villain in verse,
that road is a curse
sorted and perhaps gamed upon
well enough weathered by
the tragic spillings of a vagrant storm
(you watch closely, as I)
yet sorrow in its silence
castles too many kings, to name a fool
bridles an iron steed in silk
it trembles its hands,
it forges its silt
to covet its visage willingly
is to brazen the arms of the beast
to a single strait
(I as closely, watch you)
