Hey, I have been on Lexapro and xanax for quite a while now, and trazadone at night if I need help to sleep. Now the doctor wants to add Lamotrigine, which is the generic name for Lamictal. Obviulsy I am gonna look it up and read all about it myself, but I was just wondering if anyone has been prescribed it before either with or without an SSRI(lexapro, etc., and/or an Anti-anxiety med, xanax, etc.) I know my recreational drug use is just making my prescribed meds not work they way they are met to but I think this one is suppose to help my out meds I mentioned and make me alot less anxiety, of which I have a big problem. He said if it works we might even lower my Lexapro dose which is now up to 50mg. But he also warned me of some really bad side effects, but anyway, if anyone knows anyhng about this drug, please let me know. Thanks!
