Sounds interesting. I'm always up for new opiate experiences. I recently tried the poppy pod tea for the first time. That was very interesting. I would have to imagine that this Kratom has a very similar effect to the pod tea? Although, from how you are speaking this is getting me very excited. Then again, people spoke the same way about pod tea, which was great for being so available and such, but NOTHING compared to oxy/hydro/etc. How do you go about experiencing this Kratom? How do I get my hands on it. And can you be more specific in your preparation. Thanks.

Im so excited to try kratom....
For the past 1/2 a year I have had a good supply of oxy coming in every week, not to much but enough to get high 2 times a week. This was my first real opaite and my god is this the best drug ever.... by far. Point is my supply ended and I was so deppressed thinking this is the opiate end for me..... noooo

I stumbled across kratom and this looks very promising, I got 1 ounce in the mail ready to try.... should be here tomrrow.

It takes me about 30mg of oxy to get a good buzz. I was thinking about trying about 7g's to start.... good idea?

I was about to order some kratom online - what do you mean by "toss and wash?" How do you wash powder? And can I get it in like health for stores instead of just online? I'm dying to try it since my pain doc is shaping up to be an asshead and I'm not going to have a decent amount of pain meds around anymore, plus it's natural and LEGAL andI really don't want to go back to the places that dope took me.

i'd love to try kratom at some point in my life.
from what i've been told, with my high tolerance, i wouldn't feel its effects.
maybe someday if im takin off the meds, i'll take a break for a couple months to let my tolerance go down, and then order some of this stuff.

I have been reading all the posts about this Kratom stuff, and I still don't really understand what it is. I have been an opiatea ddict for over 10 years, from all the pharmacuticals to Heroin, but have never come across or even heard of kratom except on this site. Is it a pharmacutical opiate? Is it used in hospitals? Pill? IV? And as the poster above said with my high tolerance I assume it would have not effect on me? What does it compare to?

^^^Im curious exactly how to take it as well. I have ordered 3 gram vile of the 15x extract from iamshaman.com I put about a gram in some water and made some tea but didnt feel anything... i guess tea isnt the way to go and i should have taken alot more than a gram. I would love if you could post a detailed message about the most effective ways to dose kratom and good vendors to order it from.

Someone at another forum said to get the powder, toss and wash it but I don't know what that means and I can't ask because their registration is closed. I really don't wanna spend $100 on something that isn't gonna work.

*Edit: Okay, I'm fully retarded. I just looked up "How to prepare kratom" on Google and one site says the "toss and wash" method is to toss it in your mouth and wash it down with like grapefruit juice or something. I suppose I could have Googled it before asking here - that degree from the big deal university is coming in handy, huh?

I ordered some and my order is in the mail.... I can't wait to try it... From what I hear don't buy the extracts just stay with the powder.

a method to toss and wash is take a business card and put some power on that let it slide to the back of your mouth and quickly wash it back with some strond liquid. The alkaloids in kratom dont mix well with watter so making tea is not a good idea. Toss and wash is the best method. :)

Okay, after much investigating and reading (when I should be working, I suck hahahaha), I've determined to take the powder by tossing it to the back of my throat and then following that with some hot black coffee. Is this wrong, should I be using grapefruit juice instead? I was gonna go get some grapefruit juice anyway, to potentiate the dillies I got last night, but I have to wait for my insomniac boyfriend to get his ass out of bed (NY took my license away because I decided the speed limit is 90 not 65). Will the coffee work as well? Every time I take opiates I love hot coffee and cigarettes.

Okay sorry for the double post but: so I got up this morning at 8:30ish; I'd taken my last dose of dilaudid around 7 last night so I didn't feel fully like ass but my mail doesn't come til like 11 and, being the junkie that I am, I didn't wanna wait for the kratom to feel better when I had 5 dillies sitting there. So I took one. So, my question is, should I wait til tomorrow morning to try the kratom when I've got nothing in my system or what? I only took 2 mg., and it's not like that gives me a glow or anything but I have to work and I can't concentrate on work while I'm feeling like ass, so I took it. So...can someone answer my question? I only ordered 28 grams of the commercial Bali so I don't wanna waste it.

I think I'll just wait. I found out I had SIX dillies left, not FIVE. Some days are just better than others, doncha know.

It came! It came! It doesn't smell bad either - I got the Bali powdered and it kinda smells like cut grass but different. So now, I'm brewing coffee and gonna do a toss and wash with the black coffee and the powder (or do I use grapefruit juice?) Trendywinds seems to know all about this and I PMed him last night but he hasn't got back to me. Anyway, I shall report back shortly. WOOT!

*edit - Okay, I used two teaspoons in grapefruit juice. It does NOT blend well in cold liquid and it tastes like you're drinking the mulch out of your dad's old lawnmower - I had to refill the glass three times to get all the powder but I managed. I shall report back on my findings - I'm having hot coffee now (but not with milk because I don't wanna coat my stomach - this is way confusing, I so much prefer just banging some pills but it might be fun, we'll see).

Thirty minutes later: I'm startin' to feel a nice little glowy kind of buzz. But really? This stuff fully tastes like ass. However, considering I only paid like $15 shipping included for an ounce and I just used like 4.4 grams (2 teaspoons) - albeit with almost a fucking quart of grapefruit juice to get it down - I will be a happy little junkie if it feels as good as it seems like it's gonna. I'm certainly not in wd at all, and I've been on daily dilly/percs for over a month straight so yeah, I was starting to feel really assy before the mailman came.

Sorry this is rambly but shit, I have to say I'm impressed thus far. If you can get past the taste (and I'm glad I didn't just toss it in my mouth because two teaspoons is a LOT when it's gummy powder and it sticks to shit) it is well worth it. I'ma see how I feel in another 30 minutes, I might take another teaspoon but yeup, I'm feelin' pretty good. I'm glad now I weigh like 102 lbs. and I got my tolerance way down after two years of being clean on just subs or nothing.

Okay, so I threw another level teaspoon in my mouth. It did NOT go to the back of my throat, it just spread it's evil self all over my mouth (anybody wanna kiss?). I guzzled down a 20 oz. cup of fairly hot black coffee and swished it around to get all the icky powder out. I gagged. A LOT. But I am high right now. Not stupid high, mind you, although I am positive I SOUND stupid; but I feel like I ate about 30 mg. of oxy. I think, all things considered, and for the price, that I am going to be doing kratom on the regular - at least until the DEA decides that it's way too much fun and makes it illegal. They won't be able to make it legal via big pharma because big pharma won't make that much money off of it. But yeah, I'm feelin' good now.

*Edit - I forgot to mention that I spent five minutes brushing my teeth after I finished the coffee. Blech.

Update: Two and one half hours later, I am ripping through work like nobody's bizinz, and feeling mildly sedated and generally grateful that I'm not in full blown withdrawals - in fact, why, I'm having NO withdrawals. I feel loverly. Not even a little headache (and I took a Nexium to counter the effects of the acid contained in a frigging quart of grapefruit juice but hey, maybe all that juice will keep me from getting constipated - that was sexy, huh?)

Nope. It's got NO OPIATES in it, just the alkaloids that hit the receptors. It's like God's little gift to the addicts. It won't get you blastedfuckeduploopy, but it's nice.

I love Kratom, but just as a not to anyone reading: because it hits the receptors in the same way as an opiate, it carries all the potential baggage of addiction/tolerance as an opiate. Just a word of caution.

Regardless, I've never had withdrawals (my opi use is spaced out enough), but many people say Kratom is good for that. I like Kratom for its own effects.

I used to make the tea. My first attempt was with Maeng Da leaf, made it like a normal tea and mixed in some spearmint to mask the flavor. Wasn't too bad. Making the enhanced bali sludge was another matter. I used to mix it with hot water and let it sit for 45 minutes, and chug. Just thinking about that makes me gag a little bit now.

I've since tried the toss and wash, encaspulating, and mixing with pudding. They all work. Just get it down and your body does the rest. The pudding method definitely felt like it had the most legs.

I never realized how BIG a teaspoon was til I tried to get down two of them full of that nasty ass powder; I wish I'd thought of the pudding.

I just got 2 oz of bali powder kratom...its smaller than i imagined. Came in the regular mail and in a cool gold bag...anyways...how much is 3 grams? a teaspoon? I would imagine that a teaspoon to a teaspoon and a half would be about 3-4 grams judging by the ratio (teaspoon:size of 56 gram bag) not sure tho and I cant find my scale from my weed dealing days lol

Dilly is right, a level teaspoon is about 3 grams. However, if I were you, I would get yourself another scale.

You ALWAYS want to have a good notion of your dosage.

I think the ceiling is that if you take too much you pretty much just puke. That's why it's a good idea to start low, and slowly increase your dosage until you feel out what gets you where you want to go.

I took another teaspoon for a total of 3 teaspoons of Kratom Bali powder. It is now 3 hours after ingestion and the effects are extremely mild, yet present. I feel relaxed and a slight hint of euphoria. No opiate body buzz of the least. This could be due to my tolerance.
I'm going to ingest another 3 teaspoons and see where that gets me. If anyone is curious of the results I'll post on it.

Snooze, my tolerance as of lately has been rather high. 60mg of oxy to get high. 80+ for a nod.

With that said, it's been 4 hours since the first ingestion of kratom. I just made some tea containing 4.5 teaspoons of bali powder. I'm now attempting to get it down. I'll let ya know if the effects are worth mentioning.

Ever try Poppy Pod Tea? I found that to be much more effective. Though, I'm still new to this Kratom stuff.. so I'm just going to continue to ingest until I feel some damn effects. (Hope this stuff doesn't have any serious long term effects.. eh.)

I would agree the effects are very mild yet pleasant. Nothing like oxy like some people say. Its high is like a cold water extract of T1's. I enjoyed the lower level doses most. first time I did 10 grams and I had a for sure buzz goin but I was also dizzy and a little weird feeling, still enjoyable.

Then I tried 5 grams and the buzz was still there a little milder yet no dizzy or weird feelings.

It's been an hour since ingesting the 4.5 teaspoons. For total of 7.5 teaspoons.
I have an definite "buzz" going. But when trying to describe the buzz, I'm at a loss for words. Relaxed. Numb. Warm. Little euphoric. Slightly Dizzy. And Slightly sweaty.

Snooze, I would definitely give the pods a try before this. I was able to catch a nod off the pods. Of course, it took a lot of consumption, and with your tolerance I wouldn't expect it. But I think you could def get something out of them. If nothing else, they will halt WD's for you. Best of luck bud.

IMO Pods are the way to go. They actually have an effect that you can't render placebo. Pods are very similar to the feeling we know and love.

Ooh, sorry I didn't see this sooner, I've been scarce the last couple of days.

I used to have a huge tolerance, but 2 years ago I went to detox and got on subs; I was taking 24 mg. a day for months, then started to taper, then just stopped abruptly, went through a little uncomfortability for a few weeks and was done. I hurt myself in January and ended up back on pain meds, but my tolerance is WAY down. 8 mg. of dilaudid gets me feeling pretty nice (don't tell TokeTrip), and I can get by pretty well on 4 mg. I'm on oxy today but generally for the past few weeks I've been on nothing or very little.

The tsp. were level. I'm anal about measurements. I'm thinking if your tolerance is pretty high then you aren't gonna be happy with the kratom as a get-high, but I have to say, it kept the withdrawals completely at bay for me when I first ran out of meds, and it made me feel halfway decent and buzzy. But everybody's different.

It tastes wretched, though.

Nah, I don't think it's going to work for the pain of a fracture, but you never know. It kind of helped my pain, but my tolerance is next to nothing these days.

I think you should go to another hospital and MAKE THEM give you something. Or go back to the one you were at and tell them you're in excruciating pain. That's what I did and they gave me oxycontin.

WTF kind of doctor doesn't write pain meds for a fracture? At least vikes or percocet, ffs.

I hope dude went back to the ER and hit that doc with his cast til they gave him at LEAST some vicodin. I dunno, the ER I use, the first thing they do when someone says "pain" is get a level and then get REAL pain meds on board - usually IV morphine or IV dilaudid, plus a benzo because, as one of the docs there told me, anxiety increases your perception of pain. I mean, it's NY, and if I go and my sister isn't working I can be there for a good 4-5 hours, but at least they're comfortable hours. I've never waited more than 30 minutes after being triaged before I was given pain relief, even if I had to wait a lot longer to be examined and treated.

I've never heard of pain medication for a fracture, or even a broken bone...

ER doctors are the least likely of any doctors to write younger people anything for pain. Even so....if the doctor is nice enough to give you a shot...the stupid cunt nurse most likely shoots half of the shot into the trash before giving it to you.

I've had plenty of broken bones, and never got a thing for pain. From what I can remember, broken bones really don't hurt...and they know that.

codemeister3, not to be a downer, but I wouldn't get your hopes up too much about the bali. I sure did, only to be let down. Like dilly said, everyone is different and reacts different to it. And she had a good experience with it. My tolerance has been high lately and I know that had a lot to do with the "lack of effects". But even what I did feel was anything to gloat about. I would recommend Pods though. And I do believe they would have a really good response to pain. (I mean, they have to with codeine & morphine in there).

Overall though, I was highly disappointed with the Bali. And what type of bullshit fuck tard doc won't give you meds for a fracture, that you claim is hurting? That is some serious fucking bullshit. In my book, a fracture or a broken bone is an automatic prescription for some pain meds. And if they patient is complaining of pain, then there should be no fuckin' question. What good are doctors if they aren't going to comfort and heal us? Bullshit. Sorry to hear that man. I say, go to another doc or back to the same one with a serious attitude.

Well, best o luck with the Bali, hope you have better results then me. I'm sure if your tolerance is low like dilly's then you will have some fun. And don't forget to try the Pods sometime. They are very fun indeed!

PS 4oz is more than enough to get you good for a day. Or at least as good as the bali is going to be able to get you... though, someone on this thread did say they thought kratom has a ceiling, which means after a certain point it doesn't matter how much more you take, you aren't going to get any increased effects. So, start slow and build up according to how you feel.

PPS please post about your experiences with the bali, I'm curious to know if you get greater effects. And could you also elaborate more on your tolerance? I think you said 20 mg of oxy gets you "good". how much for you to get a nod? (if you don't mind me asking) thanks bud, and again, best of luck...

I am in Iraq right now. I have not used ANY drugs or alchie in more than 6 months. I believe that I have the lowest tolerance possible. If I take 4 percs I am pretty happy. I have never been to the "nodding" stage. I don't think that would be conducive for Iraq right now anyways. I will save that for when I get back. I never really had an urge to do more than what makes me feel fuzzy and talkative.

I love oxy for that though. It is my fav drug because it is an anywhere anything type of drug. MDMA vs oxy is a joke. MDMA does not make me feel all that good. Neither does meth/coke. I mean, I feel good but I don't feel REALLY good. And all those other ones are stim that make you not sleep. wtf is up with that?! Sleep is the greatest thing ever invented! I like oxy. I never had a tolerance that needed more than 30mg to get to what 20mg got me to. I have done like 60 in a day. Maybe I am behind the power curve? I hear people saying a baby could handle 60mg! I must not use it right?

Anyways, I am really looking forward to something that can change the pace or relax me a little over here. Its not like I run around shooting people, so I don't need to worry about being on something. I just have to worry about god damn rockets and mortars that they shoot at the fob...

We don't get pain meds at all. The only reason to get pain meds is for a "life limb or eyesight" situation. So the people who do get the meds will not let go of them for god. Not to mention the fact that if we get a limb blown off we get like 10mg percs... So the meds out here are more precious than you can ever imagine.

Slingblade is right though, you can have your friends ship it if they know where to get it. So there are a select few who have steroids and percs. That is part of the reason I am willing to do research on 4-aco-dmt. 75$ a 25mg would not be expensive out here. We all are making a good amount of money with nothing to spend it on too. Huh...

I will be as careful as I can. Its hard to dodge rockets and mortars though, so just pray for us.

Why are you waiting to "hear back" from the hospital? GO BACK THERE. Seriously, after my accident I was back in the ER a week later, told them the percs weren't working and they gave me dilaudid and valium. I realize that my experiences with ER's seem to be the exception around here - I've yet to walk out of one since my accident without a script and I generally get some IV morphine or dilaudid when I'm there plus 10 of valum for the spasms - but most hospital's have a mandate to treat a patient's pain effectively. It's unethical at the very least to let someone suffer like that. I realize many long bone fractures are actually less painful than a sprain, but some of them can hurt like a motherfucker. The last time I was at the ER there was a 55 year old woman with a broken wrist in the curtain next to me and they shot her up with morphine. I don't know what they gave her to take home but that was one happy granny.

Kava is a different experience than kratom. It's not an opiod and doesn't hit the same receptors.

I've only experimented with Kava, but it's not like you just take a little bit of the leaf and eat it (or a lot for you high-tolerance folks). It has to be blended in a shake or something with a decent fat content, since the actives are lipid soluble. I'm still experimenting with the way to take it. I like what I've tried so far, there's potential there. The taste isn't revolting, like kratom.

Where ever you get it from, you have to make sure you get ROOT ONLY powder. There was an issue with cheap kava extracts/supplements being made from the whole plant, and the upper parts of the plant contain chems which can be hepatoxic. The root is safe for consumption though.

You know what? Think I might make tomorrow night a kava night. I'll let you know the results here, if you'd like. I need to take an opiate break this weekend.

Thank you people. I know that kava is not like kratom. I ALWAYS read a shit load before I come here. Technically, after the opiate binds to the mu, kappa, or delta receptor, opiates effect the gaba neurotransmitters. Kava effects gaba right? I am not saying that they feel the same, just mentioning that.

I am thinking about a kava kratom mix. This seems like I will be totally chill after a few cups. Or puking... I don't care, as long as there is something to break the normality of my life right now. I also ordered some kava, Maeng Da Kratom, and blue lotus flowers. If I mix all this stuff up I should get an altered state. I really hope for the kratom though. I paid 25$ for 28g of Maeng Da Kratom that better be good! I also still have that 4 ounces of bali coming.

Well, you could spend $20 on a blender!

Erowid has a lot of different ways of preparing Kava in the experience reports. Some talk about making a tea with it, etc. You could probably mix it up with some milk for a while then strain out the grains, or gulp the whole thing down. I'm still experimenting.

Also, I have some blue lotus on hand as well. Anther plant I'm still experimenting with, but it seems like a decent sedative, if not something that will get you truly "high."

Don't know if I mentioned this already, but there's an herb called Kanna I've played with, that's a mild SSRI/sedative, that is pretty pleasurable. If you do check this out, please read up first, because it's MUCH more potent than things like Kratom. I take 5-8g of kratom, but MAYBE 1g of kanna.

3 tbsp coconut milk

Blended it up a bit in my Magic Bullet thing and I'm drinking it now. My mouth is already numb haha. I'll post later to let you know how it went.

Nah I didn't fall asleep, I didn't want to post until the night was out.

Overall it was pretty good. This wasn't an overpowering dose for me, though it was the strongest I've had so far. Even the package says to use 2-4 tbsp of the kava powder, and 4 is about an oz, so nothing unreasonable.

It ws definitely a pretty heavy sedation, I could feel it particularly as a really (but nice) heaviness in my limbs. I had been pretty awake, but after it kicked in I yawned a lot. I know some people use kava as a sleep aid, but the past two times I took it much later in the evening, and it really messed with my sleep. All sedatives seem to give me insomnia, unfortunately.

While you can feel the kava in your head, it's not the true euphoria you get with opiates or kratom.

Unfortunately my setting for the evening wasn't too great. I had realized, somehow while sitting at my desk as it was kicking in, that I had lost my paycheck, so I spend a good hour fired up, frantic, angrily searching. Once I found it and calmed down I started to feel the kava again.

Later in the evening I was sitting on the couch playing video games, and that's when the relaxation was really pleasurable, so I think that the night would have been even better had I just been able to melt into the couch and relax throughout.

Side effects I noticed:
This was my third kava outing, and every time there's an odd, lingering "curry" smell in my sinuses through the rest of the night. It's not something that other people can smell on me or anything, but it's always there. It's not so bad, and in many ways better than being unable to piss if you're on opiates, but i still wish there was a way to not have that.

Insomnia. Not so much this time since I took the kava much earlier (around 8pm as opposed to midnight). But when I took it late at night, I would fall asleep, then wake up 2 hours later and be unable to fall back asleep.

Also, about halfway through the evening, I got hit with a ravenous hunger, which may have caused my previous bouts of kava-insomnia (woke up really hungry). I've never used pot but maybe this is the equivalent to the "munchies".

Sounds like an interesting time. It does not seem too pleasant though. I guess I will see soon. I ordered some kava. Just an ounce or 2. I was under the impression that it makes you kind of tired. Hmmm.

I am stil waiting on my stuff btw.

I did 9 grams of kratom lastnight, I was not ripped but I was felling a solid buzz and when I was playing halo online I easly fell into a high focus gaming zone, (gamers know what I mean.) Headshots came very easy....It was very enjoyable, kratom gets a thumbs up from me!

I just got my 4 ounces from Kratom King!!! YEAAHHH :hurray::willy_nilly:. 7 days again. The APO is getting better. I think I got 8 ounces actually. There are two big bags but I don't know. It might be 2 separate 2 ounce bags. You guys tell me, I will insert a pic.

OMG I just drank some of my mixture WOW. Its not good. I need more water in it...

OMG It is still horrible. I just added volume to a horrible taste... :ack2::puke:EEEGGGHHHH. This has to be some of the worst tasting shit I have ever had. Mainly because of the amount you have to take. It taste like I am drinking water left out in a Iraqi dust storm with a hint of butt hole.

MAN I feel it!!! WWWOOOOO. This is fucking AWESOME. omg I love this. I feel warm and happy. Calm. I just found the best thing in the worrlld. I guess I will have to wait for the whole experience first though. It kicked in about 15-20 min after ingestion. The pictures are attached. Does you all think this is 2 4 ounces or 2 2ounces? I ordered 4 ounce...

The Kratom King is a good business in my eyes!
