The United States government seeks to outlaw outlaw backyard gardens if a bill currently being "fast tracked" through gets passed...

Link to the billl (http://www.govtrack.us/congress/billtext.xpd?bill=h111-875)

From another discussion board:
In the guise of ensuring "FOOD SAFETY", President Obama is pushing through a law that will make the ONLY "Federally-sanctioned" as 'safe' food, or seeds, those supplied by LARGE COMMERCIAL AGRICULTURAL OUTFITS like Monsanto, and will OUTLAW BACKYARD VEGETABLE GARDENS. I know this sounds ridiculous, but I have read the text of the law, and NO WHERE IN IT ARE ANY EXCEPTIONS FROM THE LAW MADE FOR SMALL BACKYARD VEGETABLE GARDENS OR SMALL FARMS. Under the provisions of this law, as written, you could NOT, legally, buy heirloom seed and then harvest and re-use your own seed; you could ONLY legally purchase "govenment - approved" seed. You could NOT, under this law, raise your own vegetables and fruits and then sell -- or even GIVE--them to your neighbor. You would no longer be able to take your kids down to the local "pick-your-own" blueberry or strawberry farms, or buy from the roadside backyard grower of garden vegetables, or even grow your own vegetable plants, fruit trees, or nut trees, for your own consumption. Under this new law, ANY of these acts would be ILLEGAL without first having obtained "government approval" that your product is "safe"---BUT, the legal red tape and paperwork and INSPECTIONS required, to OBTAIN this "approval", would make the expense so great that only the LARGEST agricultural monopolies would be able to meet the costs.

Frankly I think it's about time to remove this government system.

The sheep-people in the Politics forum were defending the bill, saying that there is no mention of banning home gardens. Apparently they know nothing about legal speak, and that "food production facilities" applies to just about anywhere food is grown. This is all coming from the the big agribusiness like Monsanto. The congresswoman that put the bill forward is neck-deep in connections to Monsanto and ADM.

^well pressed they will suck the dicks of those that break the captives hold. Or just die off. This is definitely being planned as they have heard of the chatter to create communes grow our own food and etc in the event of full collapse. Its coming soon and by soon I would say things look bad by this time next year but stand able still. By 2012 its hyper inflation and nothing we have will be worth anything anymore.

I think the Fed's are just quietly prodding We the Sheeple towards a bloody revolution. Like they know it's our right to get rid of them as suggested by Thomas Jefferson yet cant come right out and tell the masses so they have to slowly destroy the foundations on which this nation stands and let the people come to see they need to stand on their own two feet as opposed to following the ever-elusive carrot pulling this broken down ox cart along as we have for the past couple hundred of years.

Google the terms "ammunition shortage (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=ammunition+shortage&btnG=Google+Search)" and you might understand how the Democrats might be able to sidestep the politically perilous act of passing more stringent gun control legislation.

Yup, and that's what they're doing right now.

if these yahoos would quit going to the gun range once a week and blasting off a couple thousand rounds outta there scary black guns most of them would have ammo to last till their childrens, childrens, children have passed away..

it seriously drives me nuts to see people on the other boards i visit speak in fear of this ,talk about how ammo is nowhere to be found, then in the next breath talk about how they fired off a thousand rounds to keep in practice..

a thousand rounds to keep in practice??

the other day i sighted a scope in on one of my guns i had not shot in 5 years,it took less than 50 rounds before i was able to group 5 rounds coke can size at 100 yards..

shooting just for the sake of shooting right now makes zero sense..

keep buying what ya can and store it away.. anyone that knows how to aim and shoot doesnt forget, its like riding a bicycle.

I find it ironic that they're bitchin' about such small shit, I mean it doesn't really suprize me, but come on. If backyard gardening is outlawed then my own mom and pop would go to jail. They've been gardening for years. Hell I'm even helpin' some ol' dude grow a garden in his backyard for a couple cases of beer an' the occasional joint or two. If people continue to let the government walk all over 'em God only knows how much worse this so called democratic country'll get. We gotta stand up for our damn rights...

Yeah, I was at a friend's house yesterday and he had the TV on and that's the first thing that came to my mind when I heard that. I said "I wonder if the Obamas' garden will be outlawed, too."

Damn, Fritz, you really got me thinking...

What if...

the Elite, in trying to consolidate the world into the NWO,

needs to pass these laws, here and now,

not to use against US,

but to sieze the guns from citizens in countries like Iraq, Iran, etc.

because they have every intention of DEsegragating everyone,

from nationalism,

from religion,

from corrupt governments (!) ~ yes, even our own,

in order to get BACK to our original Constitution and Bill of Rights,

for EVERYONE in the world!

<sigh>

Yeah, right.

But we DO get to think about if it's a "good" thing, sometimes... :p

Probably not. Just like the Queen of England, Rockefeller, Rothschilds..oh no, they can eat the organic pure food, not that shit for the lowly common masses. savages.
