Wavy Gravy coming to Austin!!!!!

Okay, I'm excited! My idol, Wavy Gravy will be in Austin during the SxSW film & music festival!!!!! A documentary film about Wavy will be premiering during the fest, "Saint Misbehavin' " by Michelle Esrick.

I first heard about him in Derek Taylor's book It was 20 Years ago Today.
I'd love to meet him. You're so lucky. We got the type here in Detroit, but nothing like the original.

OMG- THE MOVIE IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! I saw it last night, Wavy was there & his lovely wife Jahanara and Lisa Law!!!! (Lisa took some of the best photos of the era & her photos are featured a good many movies).
Clown noses were passed out to all film goers and JuJu took my nose over for Wavy to sign. The movie focused on the message Wavy has been spreading for so many years...Put Your Good Where it Will Do the Most. It was so great to see footage of the great European bus trip that was the spark that later bore SEVA www.seva.org (http://www.seva.org) and to hear kids thought on attending Camp WinnaRainbow www.campwinnarainbow.org (http://www.campwinnarainbow.org) It's these things and more that made Wavy my hero!
