I must confess... I don't know who they are. I just found the pic and liked it. :p Umm... so who are they and what do they sing?

Your sig is the gatefold to their In the Wake of Poseidon album from 1970.

King Crimson is a progressive/art rock band from the United Kingdom, which formed in the late 60s and were active in the late 60s/early 70s, as well as the early 80s. They are a very influential and groundbreaking band that influenced genres ranging from new wave to modern experimental artists. They've even had an influence on bands like Tool.

Here is a song off their 1969 debut album, In the Court of the Crimson King.

The orchestral sounding instrument you hear is the mellotron, which was first used by the Beatles and the Moody Blues.

They sound alot like Moody Blues, which is good cause I like them. Yeah, overall I'm impressed. There are times I'm totally in the mood for music like this. Thanks for letting me know about them. :)
