I'd like to get myself back on a schedule of sleeping and eating. I don't eat at any particular time in the day, just whenever I am hungry, and I eat beyond when I am contently full. I also have a crazy sleep schedule, this last night I went to bed at 6 AM, woke up at 7 PM, fell asleep for half an hour in my chair at 10, and now I'm awake at 5 AM. Thanks for any suggestions, I think the sleep could be affected by the medicine I'm on.

I'm not being a slave to the clock, but it's natural to sleep at night, and I want to be in balance, which I feel like I'm not when I sleep like that

Try physical activity.

Work.

Scrub the kitchen floor, mow the lawn, dust, paint a room, plant some flowers, clean the bathroo , change and wash the sheets, bake, exercise....

Work, work, work, and you'll sleep.

Try reading a book in bed.. awhile of that usually makes me sleepy.

Physical activity is a good idea too.
Just try whatever you can think of to make yourself tired at whatever time it is you want to go to sleep and set an alarm for when you want to wake up in the morning, and hopefully after a few days or so you'll get into a routine.
