older couple, old car

Not sure where to post this.

I saw an elderly couple, husband and wife, easing on down the highway in an old white convertible from the 50s. It had small fins in the rear and round tail lights. Not sure what type of car. They both had white hair and were driving with the top down doing about 50MPH in a 60 zone. It looked adorable. :)

It was the following pic. Large round red tail lights and rather small fins. This was it. Those small fins at an angle are very distinctive. It was white too. What type of car is that? Thunderbird, right? Thanks for all those pics. :)

a 57 Thunderbird. ;) same year as my old gal :)
i plan on going the limit at the time my car was built. our hway speed is 60 but me and my old girl will do fine doing 50. :)
