okay so I posted in the young hippies section(thinking that I was young..lol) and I got some really lame replies from people half my age.I was just wondering if there was anyone in TX to hang out with.I am a mom and all and the town we live near is.hmmmm,I just haven't met anyone with the same interests.We have lived here for a year,before that we were in Colorado.I hated CO. at the time,but now I wish we were still there,the people were more open to things.Peace!

Ah dear Autumn,
Alas I am not near you, but just wanted to say that you will find this forum a bit more mellow.The young hippies forum is full of....."young"...sometimes "very young"...kids...I won't use the term hippies as it does not mean anything in this instance.

I am also a member of a group called "kindred hippies" on yahoo and there may be someone in TX there...I think there is.

There is also a forum here for all over the U.S its down near the botttom on the home page.

Good luck to you in finding like minded people to hang with.
