NE Regional

wat states are viable for a yearly regional, i know vermont has one, but are there any others?

I know northeastern MA (i.e. my uncles house in boxford) has TONS of land covered in forestry. I also know of a Native American reservation in Westwood, ma called Hale Reservation. Has a beautiful lake with clean water, blueberry fields that stretch miles, and many other fantastic qualities

I would be very surprised if Maine was not suitable. I haven't been to Maine, so I could be wrong, but it would surprise me. Massachusetts I've been too, and while it's beautiful, I'm not sure it would work.

Well the state of maine KICKS ASS. Theres the commongrounds fair that i went to once (which im sure has past since i think i went earlier than it is now the year i went) but that was probably the first time i remember seeing so many hippies in one place. I think i was first thinking of the idea of dreadlocks, and then went there and saw so many beautiful locks. Goddamn, maine in some ways is such a redneck state, but in other is so hippie and cool. Redneck in the good ways only. But i dont think the commongrounds has anything to do with the rainbows, but i could be wrong.

EDIT: BUt to answer advayas question, the state of maine would be a completely suitable place for a gathering. Great people. And quite friendly for hippies as much as it may seem weird at first glance. If you live in rural maine and dont grow weed, then your neighbor does. Haha, truth.

i went to hempstock in maine, there was a good family presence there, i think maine would b a good location for a gathering...and danC like i said, Vermont has a gathering everyear so theres aways that

Do it in MA or like NH because if u do it in maine its gonna be a fucking troop for everyone who lives in the rest of new england (CT, RI, MA) to get all the way up to maine. I live in MA and i know theres tons of national forests in the NH area, MA and RI are more liberal...maine is known for like police with nothing to do lets just put it that way

the rainbows on this forum dont care enough to really work on putting a gathering together in the NE... i mean, theres plenty of people who would like to see more regionals in the north east kingdom, ide be willing to scout out sites if thats the only issue

The weed laws in Maine are the best in NE, it's a ticket. In NH and Ma it's a trip to the station. Just something to consider.

mass just recently changed the law it is now a ticket for under an oz.
