DXM and weed

never smoked weed on DXM before, but i have pretty good experience with both seperately.

i want to take DXM again tonight and planned to smoke weed with it, but i was just reading that it can get to be extremely dissociative and it sounded sort of unpleasant.

anyone who has combined before- how was it? on what dose?

i'd probably take 250-300mg (about 5mg/kg, give or take).

They have a wonderful synergy together... I think you're either going to love it or hate it.

I love it. My favorite was to take around 700mg and then smoke a tiny bit of weed. It doesn't take much pot to really change the experience with DXM in my experience. With that sort of a dose, though, I would usually be confined to lying down in my bed with the lights off. I would just stare at the beautiful visuals that would appear in the dark while thinking about the mechanics of the universe. Incredible. Not the sort of experience I would be able to handle moving about, though.

Keep your dose of DXM low the first time you try this... its really a strange feeling the first time you mix them.

it's a moderate second plateau dose for me- 275mg would be 5 mg/kg.

Yea. I'd say that's perfect. You could go even higher if you feel comfortable enough with DXM and it's higher plateaus. Since you sound like you are already pretty familiar with both anyways.

First time I mixed them, I did it on 700mg and I was fine, but I already had considerable experience with both substances alone. I wouldn't recommend that for somebody who is inexperienced with either one.

not going near 600mg... when i took 420mg i was confronted with the "door" to the third plateau, and told not so subtly that i wasn't ready. so i'm going to boost my experience and see how things go.

still, though, 300mg is pretty heavy for me, and i've got a nice pile of well cured headies on my hands.

When I could do dxm, yes, it was heavenly. unfortunately i've developed a nasty reaction to it.

well i've taken well over 400mg of DXM.

i've also take an unknown number of hits of some great headies.

i don't even know what i'm typing. my hands are sooo fluid feeling and it's just all around nice.

very excellent synergy, i'm typing pretty well even though i feel MASSIVELY fucked.

also took lecithin, not sure if that helped.

man, i can't imagine how intense that would be.

it's weird, though. i had this sense that i was still pretty sober even though my world was intensly fucked up. i felt like i could easily handle tons more, but at the same time kept going "oh GOD what is this".

incredibly fun though. different altogether, there are new elements which aren't in weed or DXM themselves, but came out when i mixed them.

i took like 400mg of dxm aaftetr doing the sadme thing last night, and smoked both nights also. it's taking me for a pret\ty wild trip. i'm getting shoved aroun d a little bit. DXM mixed with weed can be pretty intense. my mind is being raped, SO hard, SO hard.

:D Just don't do it so often! Give yourself a week in between dxm trips, it's hard on your digestive organs. Plus tolerance.

last night was pretty scary.

i was having pretty extreme auditory hallucinations- music, white noise, even voices. i kept imagining that i would gouge my eyes out, and this became so vivid i was terrified i would actually do it for some reason. i ended up having a huge panic attack and then lying down until i fell asleep. then i dreamt i took lsd :confused:

though strangely enough i have a very pleasant afterglow right now.

I won't do dxm unless weed is involved.
dxm by itself is too choppy and unbalanced for me usually, but even 3 or 4 hits while within the 3rd plateau kicks the trip into a different place. if I'm up and about it feels like time and space have become unhinged and the epicenter of the world is closing in on itself. if I'm lying in a dark room blasting drones on headphones it's more like sliding through tunnels in space and communicating with various aliens and the occasional deity..

Man those were the days. It's interesting that smoking weed, and then doing some K is pretty crappy (it just feels dirty, uncoordinated, and stupefying) while doing a line of K and then 20 minutes later smoking up is fucking heaven. The order is important, and I think this translates to all combinations in a general rule: Do the stronger drugs before the weaker drugs. Stronger as defined by intensity of experience, scope of experience, and length of experience.

For example, I imagine getting high on bud then eating some molly would just be weird . . . you'd start to blast off just as you're sinking to your lowest point, right. On the other hand rolling balls and then sparking up is absolute heaven.

I really feel this is a good rule that applies almost universally.

i definitely agree with that, Mr.Writer.

i haven't done dxm in a while; taking it multiple times weekly sorta made me agoraphobic and fucked with my mood/memory. plus it makes reality way less interesting. flying through space is definitely more fun than sitting around bored at night.

i'm probably not gonna robotrip for about 6 months, if ever again.

Also try doing a hit of SD while you are on the comedown, that is some fantastic flight right there.
