i think its because i drank a bunch of pomegranate juice prior to dosing. i used to do this much every time years back. i was sweating ALOT, and it took forever to pee. i pretty much stayed in my room/bathroom the entire time because it was extremely hard to walk and i had no balance at all. it was'nt really bad.. just intense.. didn't wan't a trip of that magnitude but thought i could handle it.. wrong.

is 8oz just two regular bottles?? sorry i haven't done dxm in a while & i don't intend to use this substance anymore in the future. but if 8oz is two bottles, then i've done this 4 times or so, & it was always my kinda trip (for the most part).. sometimes it was very very strange. i even did 2 & a half reg sized bottles.. but i don't remember it much & it was nothing to write home about. in all, i think you will feel better about life when you decide to stop using this cough syrup for recreation ; )

Your tolerance went down. You USED to drink 8oz of Robo, but not anymore. Same thing happens with most drugs. If you take a break for a long time, you're starting over tolerance wise. Lots of people OD that way. Glad you're fine, hope to see you back round these parts...

Ah come on, what exactly were you expecting to read here? "It'll be ok"? I've been through uncomfortable dxm trips as well and there's no help for that. You just have to ride it out. Yeah it sucks, sweating like crazy, feeling crazy, feeling bad, worrying that you're having an allergic reaction or something . . . maybe your body has finally rejected dxm, like mine has.

700mg is solid 4th plateau, it's nuts, and when THAT kind of dose goes wrong, it's hell.

I'm sorry that you feel we weren't of any help but the truth is there was no help we could have given you. It's the price we all pay for imbibing chemicals reacreationally; sometimes you get cut with the knife you're holding. Glad youre ok, hope youre not gone forever.

Your body is starting to reject it MrDot. It happens to everyone afaik after a certain number of ingestions (different for each person, for me was 10-15). You will start getting more and more bad side effects, and gelcaps might not help. They didn't help me.

I've only did it 3-4 times, I don't know why it tasted so bad, the first 2 times I drank it I loved the taste now it's just like bleh. Maybe I'll try powder.

dont worry, it goes in cylces. your body will reject it for a while, then it will embrace it again, ive went through this cycle numerous times already. and i hate the trips that turn out like that, where you cant pee, but the whole time it feels like your about to piss your pants anyways. those are fails to me. and yeah, im like illcannibillyvanilly, 900 mgs is when i start to hit the 4th. but there have been times when higher dosages dont really take me to that place, and times when lower dosages take me a lot further than expected. the ideal trip doesnt have that stupid pissing your pants feeling, and after doing it a lot, you seem to get that handed to you more and more often. how many total times you think you've guys dosed? on any amount? i worked it out recently and ive got at least 348-452 times total dosing on dxm. yes, there was math involved.

meh, pomegranate juice potentiates DXM making it stronger. try it. drink a glass or two for the two days prior to dosing and you'll see what i mean. i've managed to lay off the tussin for 8 days now, a new record since april.

i see you got similar problems with it as myself. i never drank the pomegranate juice, but i did the grapefruit juice. gettin them enzymes down! i used to use diphenhydramine for the same purpose. do about 50 to 100 mgs of it the night prior to doing the dxm, or at least a few hours before, because it inhibits the cytochrome p450 enzyme as well, but it will also compete with dxm during metabolism so the full potential of both will be diminished if taken too close in time. i dont know if it always makes dxm more powerful though. i mean, it causes for more dxm to be floating around in your bloodstream, but prevents it from turning into dxo, which some of dxm's effects also come from.

I'm sorry but this seems silly to me. Already tonight I've drank about 10oz. My max was I think 6 4oz bottles of robo. I have never felt anything bellow 3 bottles. then from then on up its a sickening display of insanity and crawling on the floor/walking like a mummy.
