Listen to the 4 sound files "The Art and Science of Meditation, by Joseph Goldstein" , you'll find them here http://www.buddhanet.net/audio-meditation.htm
Anyway hope they help, they did for me.

Well I just got some dank insence burners but the best thing I can say is toke a bowl, jam to some marley, and burn some insence....The best mediation skill is just that.

buy the book "Be here now" by Baba Ram Das (i believe that's it)
that helped me a lot
Iman say just be calm and think within yourself, and let go of all your thoughts and just be peaceful, the answers will come :)

Check out Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, or Ammachi. Ammachi gives meditations for free. Ravi is fairly cheap. Also there is Ananda Marga. Also many Tibetan Rinpoches. So many techniques. No matter where you are there's something. If you want to learn then one of these will be somewhere near you.
Like um. Enjoy life. This is meditation. Becoming one with GOD

try feeling the body from the inside
feel the energy of the body, flowing through the hands and feet
normally we don't give much conscious attention to our bodies unless it is in pain
so , as ameditation, pay attention to it.

take a yoga class...they often do some form of guided meditation, and then you can begin to practice at home
