guaifenesin question, in regard to Mucinex DM

I'm going to do DXM tonight, and I have a little less than half of a 4 oz bottle of Robitussin Max strength, DXM only. I'd like just a little bit more, but the only other DXM products I have contain guaifenesin. So my question- if I crush up one or two time release Mucinex DM tablets (so that's at least 30mg DXM and 600mg guaifenesin and at most, 60mg DXM and 1200 mg guaifenesin) will that be a safe amount of guaifenesin? Like I said, I just need them to add that extra bit of DXM to what I'm already taking.

Is 1200mg of guaifenesin going to make me ill? If not, how much would it take to start being dangerous?

The first time I ever did DXM I took 16 Mucinex DM's and drank a little bit of a bottle of waltussin which had guaifenesin and the other thing that starts with a p haha but its not good(Only like 5 sips not even half the bottle), and I made it to a friends house, then it all hit me, then I rode my bike home, went straight to the bathroom and puked for 30 minutes, and woke up in my bed 8 hours later sitill feeling extremely neauseated... I attribute it to the guaifenesin because I took so fucking much of it, NOT worth it.

edit: btw all my vomit was bloody and nasty orange with white spots all over in it, NASTY shit, I was told guaifenesin would make me nausious but DAMN, I didn't expect all that

guafenesin has never made me puke. i just keep my mind off it. or if im feeling unlucky i take benadryl to prevent puking

gauif makes some people puke, others don't. personally i've never taken anything but DXM only products so i have no first hand knowledge. gauif can cause kidney stones from repeatedly taking it, and if you don't know passing kidney stones can be more painful than childbirth and take just as long to pass. also i hear of people pissing out of their ass which doesn't sound fun.

Since then I have never done DXM with anything else in it, thankfully that was just a desperate first time to get high with dxm thing. NEVER again

Its probably too late now but crushing and taking 60 mgs of DXM wouldn't really add much to the trip, would it? Maybe if you had 2 of the Mucinex DM Extended Release since 2 of those are equal to 120 mgs of DXM.
