The title of the thread is Yusuf Islam, if you want to talk about any of those topics, how about starting a new thread.

You are right about Salman Rushdie. It is completely reasonable to have Cat Stevens on a watch list. However, it is not to let him on the plane. Failures in security are very abundant.

yusef islam was one of the main people behind the campaign against rushdie ,he also made threats against the man who was thinking of making a film of the satanic verses

he got kicked out of isreal for giving money to hamas since then he has given speeches to hamas fund raising dinners

cat stevens agrees with this he says on his website that he cant have rushdie killed because he doesnt live at present in a islamic country .
but hes clear that people who defame mohammed should be killed , so all the rushdies that live in islamic countrys should be killed

I think its important to examine yusef islams agenda to see whether he has had a ordeal .... or a tiny bit of what he wants to dish out to other people

he found islam the religion of peace well i suppose some people believe charles manson is the son of god so I suppose it makes sense some people think mohammed was a prophet
