I thought I'd give you a teaser from the front page of the above mentioned web-site... (and a shameless bump for the topic)

Dear Reader,

Civilization as we know it is coming to an end soon. This is not the wacky proclamation of a doomsday cult, apocalypse bible prophecy sect, or conspiracy theory society. Rather, it is the scientific conclusion of the best paid, most widely-respected geologists (http://www.fromthewilderness.com/free/ww3/102302_campbell.html), physicists, (http://www.fromthewilderness.com/free/ww3/111704_end_oil.shtml) bankers (http://www.texasmonthly.com/2008-02-01/feature2.php), and investors (http://money.cnn.com/magazines/fortune/fortune_archive/2005/12/26/8364646/) in the world. These are rational, professional, conservative individuals who are absolutely terrified by a phenomenon known as global "Peak Oil."

I have seen a lot of oil experts give very convincing talks about oil peak, I am a firm believer that we don’t have much oil left.

I find it crazy and strange all the sudden price has dropped and people now are saying “oh see oil peak is false”.

But I think it is good the have estimated oil use will be down by 10% hopefully it will continue to drop.
