I wanted to write something beautiful...
In vain, I wished for words that rolled over
And through themselves
Collecting pieces of each other as they grew,
As they searched for you
Becoming a wall of emotion that would break
Upon your shores
Leaving you silenced and satisfied

But those sounds wouldn't live through me
And in the sleepy eye of mind
The only image I could summon
The only inspiration I could find
Was an old worn sketch
of you

How can I explain your own features to you?

Through your exact and perfect lips
I've heard only a fraction of the syllables you've spoken
The words you have choosen
And your outward jasper eyes cannot show me
The dreaming as you percieve it
The changing as you believe it

How can I explain to you your own expressions?

I can't

Yes, it was beautiful purusha. Jasper eyes alone evoke an inner light.
You can inspire, the exhalation of expression, and begin the circulation
that points to the center within.

Sorry, I loved some of the lines and so I've condensed to allow them to glow.

purusha, that was fantastic, and you definitely accomplished your desire to write something beautiful for your special someone; they are a lucky person to have these passionate words pay homage to them... :)

Hehehe thank you :)

And while I'm here, I would like to say once more that I'm in love with that poem. Still....

Thank you for writing something so beautiful, and thank you for sharing it with the world. It's people like you, who make others stop and think. Draw people together. You have such a simple yet profound way of stringing words together to really make people feel something. I've read so many pieces of writing that do nothing for me. They're good and I like them, sure, but it takes something else to make me stop and say "wow". Or physically stop and think about what I've just read. Or bring about some emotional response from within.

You need some serious applause, there are people who may make a living out of writing, but still cant get to me like you just did there.

Yes, it really is beautiful. I wish I could write as wel as that... or anything at all. I always get stuck with a few loose bits and no way to connect them. And even if I would manage that, I'd get one of those "well there's a few nice sentences in it but the rest is ultra lame" sort of poem...

Kudos! ^^

yes that was very beautiful. when i first read the title of the thread, i was thinking, "well you cant intend to write something beautiful, you just have to write it and let it be beautiful" but thats exactly what you said and did, a very nice surprise, thank you
