coming down off alcohol, want to drink poppy tea...

took several swigs of rum (40%) and some swigs of weakish liquor (23%), a few hours ago. when i get to feeling more or less baseline is it okay to drink poppy tea? oh and those swigs got me pretty drunk.

i only ask because i know it's dangerous to mix alcohol and opiates, but how long it it actually dangerous for (after drinking i mean)?

You should be fine, as long as you are experienced with both substances, and you aren't doing more then either substance then you are used to doing.

I mix alcohol at the tail end of my opiate highs...not too much, but 4 or 5 beers usually, because opiates actually make it hard for me to fall asleep.
