damn lack of free . i count two threads definitely removed lately , Death Camp and then Teaching Drum . and now i can't find the report on the recent govt/rainbow meeting . if that has been deleted i'm definitely upset , or is it here and me blues eyes are missing ... ?

Death Camp thread was removed by a roving mod, and probably for the best.
I'm told Teaching Drum was moved to Communal Living. If you mean the thread on the ACLU report, it's still here. Don't recall any recent threads on Fed/Rbow meetings.

i do recall . the post had three replies and it was a transcription of a meeting about Gathering2009 with a summerizing commentary by the sister from SanDiego who prepared it .

i've looked again ... cannot find it . oh ya , maybe the feds deleted it and it's 'for the best' that they would .

But if I don't see it, it was hard deleted or moved without a forwarding address.
I think that shows the difficulty of not having a set mod. I still say Rainbow should figure out how to work without one, and usually this is as tranquil as these forums get.
Not to say it's always/ ever tranquil, but you seem to resolve a lot without modding.

I can't say I miss the Death Camp thread too much. It It had way too much to to with personal attacks, and nothing to do with solutions. And if we must air our dirty laundry in public, must it be some of our dirtiest?

I'd like to know for what reason, if any, a thread on a meeting with USFuSs was deleted, though. Would someone risk censure for digging up Karin's report from AGR and reposting it?

I'd rather take the risk of occasional damage from a roving mod on a rampage than than risk the damage that could be done by an entrenched despot, though. Let's keep it wide open, and just live with the fact that there's no fight better than a fight among Family.

Never saw the FS thread... name calling or anything like that? Can also be that simply cutting and pasting is frowned upon. C&P with commentary is fine.

Mad Cow here.. well this is a fine howdydo..The FACTS are.. yes I deleted the Dcamp thread.. if ppl wouldn't have feed me Wrong info maybe things would have turned out as they did er'.. I consulted other mods about the dcamp thread and was advised to remove it which I did.. same thing with the other thread that I also went to concil on and was as advised to delete it.. I hard deleted it bc it was a nasty thread and the other one about the community that fed you roadkill was found to be a troll by another mod and the other mod banned the OP that was using two ids on the same thread to harrass me.. If you had the ability to deleted and ban you would use it also if it were you getting called every fucking name in the book.. I was encouraged to do what I did BY RAINBOW members also.. so say what you will about this mad fucking cow.. but when you need assistance you talk with another tongue.. hypocrits..

Footnote... I only deleted two threads.. D-Camp and the Community Hoax thread.. I don't have any idea what happened to the other thread posted by the sister. If you can give me the title of the thread I can try and find it in the deleted thread graveyard. Also if you want the Dcamp thread back I think there may be a way to re post it also.. if that is what you want.. if that is what it will take to get you off my back.. If you want it drudged back up..Then maybe you will see YOUR error in your harsh judgement of me, your unkindness and Hatefulness towards me. I'd really like to bring it to council.. In my last post I was looking for a solution to finely put an end to this..mistakenly thinking (i find) that taking it to council might end it. BC I keep runing into threads like this one. You know there are alot of people who call themselves (rainbow) and have no love in thier heart. You can't expect these people to show you love. Like hhb said alot of people just want to let sleeping dogs lie. I myself do not like to have my voice or freedom taken away from me. Papabear.. I do not come in RB to moderate it.. I had no intention to moderate it.. but it did become an issue for moderation, by other mods besides myself and it was agreed to delete the two threads... I will be exstactic to let it drop.. I did not know that RB mod'ed itself.. I don't have a problem with that.. but everyone is subject to the same guidelines as far as personal attacks are concerned. Here's a problem or 2 with having no mod...first, this is a privately owned site with defined rules of conduct; we Rainbows are guests here & are expected to follow the same rules as everyone else. Without a mod, the rules can be broken & possibly result in a loss of the forum (tho I will say that Skip has been very liberal about allowing us Rainbows to mainly moderate ourselves). 2-at the very least, a mod needs to make checks to see if spam has been posted, since posting spam is against HipForums policy.

Another point that has been glazed over here is that any super-mod can moderate any forum if they notice problems or if someone PMs them to complain.

This is Skip's bar. He doesn't poke his head in this little corner much, I don't think, but it is still his bar. On the whole, his bouncers are doing a pretty good job. But what DID happen to the thread about the meting with USFS?
