Hiya Funkateer!

Me & my clan are about 1/2 way between Austin & Houston, but since the hubby has a heavy traffic adversion, he won't drive anywhere near Houston. I posted to let you know that there will be a big benefit concert in Austin on December 14th for the Rainbow Legal Fund. The legal fund is being established to help with things like phone cards for people who get arrested at Gatherings & getting witnesses to court to testify. I'll be posting the location & all closer to the benefit date...but some very talented folks have agreed to play including LeeAnn Atherton, Flounders Without Eyes & more.

Excellent I will definitely be there. I met a clan up in Arlington one time they were such amazing people! Ever since I have been dying to meet more rainbows. :D Since I kind of fell out of contact with them :( BTW I make trips up to austin alllll the time What area are you located in?

We're outside of Smithville...Bastrop County. There's a nice scattering of Family all around our area. There are a lot of Fam in Austin but not much in the way of Rainbow potlucks & the like.

count me in! i and a couple friends of mine have been searching for some of the rainbow crew. all the houston hippies i've come in contact with seem to be nu-age ones that pretty much just shun everything they find unusual. not fun to deal with.
