remember a concert on acid?

could i get acid at a concert, take it, and remember the concert afterwards, or would the whole experience be just based around my trip?

yeah, you'll remember the concert. it just won't be the same as remembering a conert sober, but you won't black out or anything like that.

chances are the acid will just make it really intense, and colors and sounds will stand out, but don't worry about "missing" the experience- just understand that it will be a lot different than normal.

i don't know about getting it there, though- i've heard a lot about how easy it is to get LSD at festivals, i'd assuming concerts are similar- i guess it kind of depends on what kind of music is playing.
but i wouldn't count on finding it there- try to get some before you go.

My first time tripping at a show, was a Dead show as well. There was a glowing halo around Jerry's head the whole second set. :)

the first concert i ever tripped at was tom petty, i don't really remember much. but since then Ive had many memorable trips at concerts.

one of my favorite concerts Ive ever tripped at was a band called ghostland observatory. that was such a great decision.

just make sure your comfortable with the amount your taking, because crowded places, loud music, and crazy lights can become very disorienting.

It's amazing. I saw a show in Vegas while frying and remember all these colors from the lasers coming out at me and dancing to the music..each color enhancing the emotional overtones of the songs. The music would change at times too, in unusual ways, sounding a bit distorted...it's great.

first of all, jerry certainly lives.
second, tripping at shows is a blast, imo one of the best times to trip, live music is ethereal under the influence, it's seriously a whole 'nother ball game at that point.

shrooms at a club was a blur to me. literally. but i remember the blur... i was fucked on mdma as well.
that being said last time i was at a club on acid and mdma i remember a lot more of what was going on (it wasn't as blurry at the time though).

what is the consensus with deadheads on Dark Star Orchestra? i have seen them 12-15 times approx in various settings and states of mind and i think that they put on a pretty good show. this being said, i have no recollection of the only time i saw the gd, as i was an extremely young child.

Mahemfest on 4 hits of liquid...best experince...and the worst...too many people not tripping...but the fire works and light shows look amazing...and it was chill finding random hippies that were tripping also to toke with...id say its worth it...

I worked this show on a 1/8ball of coke and 4 hits of white blotter. Didnt take the blotter till I was suppose to punch out, found out I was working Ot after I took acid:eek:.. This was very fun. Somewhere I wound up in a good location. And anytime a exchange guard came up to me, I said I was off duty. Then someone came and told me to move to a vendor stand. I did, and some dude was all fucked up buying a tshirt. And the attendants wanted me to intervene and I laughed my ass off, I remember saying something like dude Buy a shirt already or get lost.. but he said something in effect like "why you going to arrest me?" And I totally cracked up.. I was pretty geeked out.
The vendor stand closed and I went to the floor area. And was absorbed.. :D

Of course there will be acid at phishs first show back, but it's ALWAYS better to bring your own shit, as long as its legit. You know exactly the potentcy, you know where it came from, it's not sketchy buying it because the parking lot might have undercovers since its the first show and cops like to arrest drug dealing hippies in the lot. Also, I wouldn't get your hopes up on buying the tickets. It's gonna be nearly impossible to get tickets, unless your willing to pay scalpers 500 bucks or more for one ticket. Also, if you do wind up going, I don't know if its a good idea to trip for the first time there. I wouldn't want to trip around 1000's of people on my first trip ever, that'd be kind of hard to handle. You should just be with a couple close friends your first time. That first run there doing is gonna be insane, and loaded with people inside and out , a shitload of cops will probably be there. You should just smoked some dank weed at the show, and trip a couple times before the show, so you know what the drug is all about.

I dropped 3 doses for Phil Lesh and Friends at summerfest and it was amazing. Phil came out for the second set with a bass that had blue lights on the fretboard and every movment he made with the guitar made trails. I remember the kickass versions of shakedown street, sitting on top of the world, don't let me down, st stephen, the golden road, bertha, sugar magnolia, ripple, and wharf rat like it was yesterday. I remember a lot of the people I talked to at the intermission and we were all geeking out because they bought doses too and a bunch of people were wasted around us. It was the greatest concert ever!! Made me love the dead so much more.

Lotus the band that opened was pretty amazing on the acid. I had never heard of them but they played some fucked up shit.

The next show I'm going to is The Beastie Boys with Ben Harper and I'll be tripping my face off on 6 doses that are already in my freezer waiting for November 2nd!

you'll remember it for sure, but other pieces of things will be thrown in and some visuals will be just as important as the music. I often have a hard time remembering the full set list of a show I've seen induced...likewise, most shows I see in an inudeced state are surrounded by other concerts before and after (at a festival...so it all gets very foggy after awhile...but you will remember most of it...and especially the most memorable parts!
