Got handed a flyer for this in St. Albans on Saturday, thought it might interest some people since they're showing films and having open meetings etc. I happen to be able to travel to London for £2 that day so I thought I'd pop along.
Oh yeah and it's on Saturday 18th October.

I'll be wandering through, though only briefly, I'm meeting a friend in town later on and we're going to see all the museums :)
I am THAT exciting.
But if you see someone that looks a lot like Jesus, wearing a white Peace Poppy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_Poppy) then feel free to say hi.

That's the biggest hazard of these events, you can't avoid walking away with enough assorted leaflets to fill your recycling bin ...
Is that the Socialist Party formerly known as the SPGB (aka the duffle-coat tendency) or the Socialist Party formerly known as Militant?

Probably the former.. they don't seem too militant, if I introduced the idea of armed struggle theyd look at me like I was mad :(

lol I made it to Stepney Green, but couldn't find the thing using their directions.
My complete lack of orienteering skills fails me again :P
The nearest Harford Street I could find on a map was 8 miles away, and the arrow on the map (which they now say to ignore!) didn't actually point to the venue.
So after an hour wandering around a housing estate near the hospital I got bored and went to leicester square to meet my friends.
But I did get a couple of new books from elsewhere. I can't seem to travel without picking up new books

:) I could see a big long road
"Queen Edith's" means little to me.
They mentioned a Harford road which wasn't on any map I could see, and they had a map on the site with an arrow, pointing to a deserted estate
I probably could have found it if I had hung around long enough, but I had other things I wanted to do the same day

lol I passed an entrance to that at some point, but it looked very quiet. And I was looking for the mysterious Harford road :o
...Cos that's what the directions said.
You have to bear in mind that where I live we have a horse, a small tree, and a road.
So through my eyes London looks like this:

Actually what I had meant was
"London isn't as good as chinese noodles"
But yes, that too
