Blessed by challenge

Recently I suffered a horrible bout of lyme disease. As a life coach I try to encourage my clients to find the strengths within their challenges. It's better than coming apart in dispair, at any rate. On some level, this horrible struggle with illness is fostering strength, healing and growth. I've wondered in another post elsewhere on the forums what Deer Tick Spirit is teaching me through all this.

As an excercise, I'd just like to encourage those interested to consider a challenging point in their life, and try to find the guidance, teaching and blessing within it. I'm just curious to see responses, what have you experienced in being blessed by the spirits through challenge and hardship?

Seriously, it's the spirit of the transformative experience within struggle, as manifested through the experience resulting from the bite of a deer tick. So yes, the spirit of that specific deer tick, and of deer ticks in general.

I can't really think of any specific spirit besides THE Spirit that was trying to teach me something, but:
My parents were very abusive, they beat me all the time, burned me with matches, my mom even tried to drown me in a toilet when I was about 9 years old. I wanted to die every time I woke up in the morning, but I kept going, I really have no idea why. Now I'm 22 and I'm so thankful to be alive, because all those horrible things have made me spiritually strong. I've always known since I was little that I'm meant to be a healer of some sort, I guess going through that gave me the empathy I need to do so.

laughter is always a good way to know that everything is all right in life

speaking of that what does the life and death of a human look like if to the earth if it was able to think?

do we look like a big bunch of sweat to the earth?

are humans here to help the earth pass gas?

how was the earth created? was it just a big ball that kept gathering space particles over it? then it started getting bigger. then started making air pockets in itsself? then more lairs then more air pockets of gas? then eventually it need to pass gas? so it exploded and put this lair of gas around its self after it let its geas out?


and it is a sign. a deer crossing sign if you didnt get it.
