Empathetic Hedonist

I first want to appologize, one for the length of this post, and two for the length of my other posts. I really like to type. It's as easy for as speaking, easier in some ways. I get the whole spiel (had to look that oune up) out before I see the look of boredom.
For many months now I have been fighting for awareness. It has been a reletivly small battle, waged with friends and family, and the few strangers I find open minded or educated enough to understand. I count a good deal of you in the second catagory, and all but a few of you in the third.
A very few have been open to what I have to say, in spite of complete agreeance from everyone in the field (from both sides, conservative, liberal, and those completely neutral). The only people who disagree are those who aren't in the loop.
Not only do they disagree but many catagoricaly deny all implications. Not really the fact itself (it is very not possible to deny) but they won't believe that it will cause anything truly bad. They come up with excuses, mostly childish things, mixed with the little science they pick up from half listened to 2020 specials and mostly understood newspapaer articles.
There were two real straws that broke me. One was here on the forums, and one was a teacher I really respect. Both fell mostly in the second catagory. Most people here know what problem I'm talking about but it really doesn't matter at this point.
I'm done. I am no longer going to try to help anyone see... well anything. If we can all pretend something isn't happening, that something will not effect us. That the government, or big buisinesses, or (not very often heard) God, will just save us, no effort on our part, then I am done. I hope you all know enough about farming to not starve. I truly hope that. I hope you see the possibilities of war before you are caught up in it.
Ok, just had to get that off my chest.
