Compact Fluorescents. look for 2700K or 6400K (color temp).

I was looking my self also for fluorescent light but can i use it for flowering too??
I dont think ill get enough harvest out of the plant...an ounce would be great though!!
I want to keep it very small...just an inside the house plant...like a bonsai pet...lol
so btw do I need all these nutrients and CO2 sprayers etc..??

You don't need co2 - You can flower with fluorescent but your not goning to get
more then 5 or 10gms- if you have the money i think the best would be a 175w lamp
thats a grow lamp not just any old lamp? but for an extra $100 you can get your self
a 400watt now we talking! but not that a 175 is a joke in hydro i seen 80grams but
IMO if you give it a good food i think you can come up with 40 or 60gms
You said bonsai then this is for you?
SCREEN OF GREEN..it is mostly for when height and watts are a consideration LIKE
YOU HAVE flro? this would work best for a low watt lamp like a fluo-to do this
set your chickenwire at a height where you would like your plants to get to 1F is good? once the plants get to the wire you start training the canopy to go horizontally
on the wire this would need to be done every 1 or 2 days it's not hard your plants
will not break just onec the plant gets to the wire you just tie the plants growth to the
chicknwire with some string not hard and like i said the plants are not going to break
even a fluorescent light will work good this way.

Another cheap source of light is flood lighting a cheat 75watt son, sox, metal halite, mercury vapor all of which are ideal for growing is around 30 pounds in this country. Added bonus is they come with the reflector.

Bonzi for you. http://users.bigpond.net.au/nutriflo/
http://users.bigpond.net.au/nutriflo/bonz.gifBonzi is a growth regulator that will shorten stem growth dramatically, at the same time, inducing branching. The resulting plant will be only about 2/3 the height but with denser growth and higher yields. Bonzi is a foliar spray which is often used when growing tropical plant varieties under lights.
