I just moved to the NYC area, and I have one friend here who is a smoker like me, but I hate always having to bug him to make connections for me. He's also one of those paranoid guys that makes you feel like it's a big favor for him to help ya out.

I'm not gonna ask how to connect, cause....well....duh! How would you answer that on a board?

I just wanted to start a discussion about it. I seem to be having the hardest time connecting with like minded people in NYC. Which seems strange to me. I didn't have a problem when I moved to the 'Cuse (the 315), but maybe that's cause it's a college town. But....on any given day I had at least 3 different people I could get in touch with to get some green. In Texas is took me all of about three days, but I guess that was cause I worked with a dealer. In Boston, I had no problem finding friends to hook up with.

I guess I've always been lucky to run into good people in the places I've lived. Here in NYC (which I feel should be the land of plenty) I've gone almost three weeks now without a toke (except for some herbal fake shit).

How have ya'll made connections in the past when moving to a new area?

Hit up some parties.

Match with people when you find weed.

Don't be afraid to ask someone to introduce you to someone else.

Tell me how in the hell I am in High school and can not find any connections.

The only people I know that would possibly hook me up, are not people I exactly trust to give me good shit.

Know what I mean?
