Hello. I am starting to plan an outdoor grow. My plan is to create single plant greenhouses. I plan to create airflow from a solar panel as well as run a small tube with a pump to water the plants from a nearby stream. My question is, How can I trigger the plants to flower when they are not in season? I live in florida and it's always sunny and only a few time does it freeze over. Being that the plant is in its own isolated green house, how can i regulate the sun to trigger the flowering. I had an idea that for the veg growth I could double the amount of light the plant receives during the day with a mirror. Then when I want to trigger the flower growth I could put a dark film over the plant and leave the mirror alone. With the film over the plant, the plant will receive less light. In theory I would be regulating the light my self regardless of the season. What are your thoughts?

I'd avoid the mirror, doesn't really reflect many lumens, and creates hot spots.

Triggering flowering just put a dark material over it, 2-3 layers of 3mil black plastic would work.
