if you ever get the idea to eat nutmeg to get high, start small, and make the increments of dosage smaller each time
I ate one nut the first time, this was nice subtle alteration for like 20 hours
I ate two nuts the second, this was sort of like being mildly high off marijuana for like 10 hours then trailing off. Was still very pleasant, not very strong.
So then I upped it to three nuts next time, there was months in between each of these nutmeg trials by the way. Three nuts produced simply the most uncomfortable experience of my life ever. Even more so than getting too blasted on LSD, cause atleast when that happens your just flying out of existence and you know without any doubt it's not possible to die. But too much nutmeg is like, taking a REALLY strong bong rip, getting so high you have curl into fetal position out of fear, one of those things where your like "am I gonna die". Except, that lasts for 6 hours straight, and you don't have the reassurance that you can't die because nutmeg can kill you in overdose and it's actually a mild MAOI inhibitor so a bad mix could be fatal. But anyways, I ate the three nuts, hours 1 to 10 were pretty good actually, I just kept getting higher and higher. Like hour 7-10 I was really fucking high, and I was really digging it thinking it was awesome. But then it didn't stop getting strong at hour 10... it kept getting stronger till like hour 12 and then plateuing for 6 hours at the peak. Which was, as I describe, curled into the fetal position quivering. Holding my heart feeling it beat, which my body would go numb, and then I would stop feeling the heart beat which made this horrible train of thought of "can I not feel my heartbeat because I'm going numb? Or am I going numb because my heart is stopping beating?"
None the less I knew how to completely zone out and just breathe, which made it bearable and eventually allowed me to force myself to sleep. But ya, careful of adding one additional nut. I would assume my max dosage is probably around 2.2 nuts. Jumping from 2 to 3 nuts was not good.
