I'm all about the hybrids. I like the idea of growing for a better yield, stronger weed, better burning, nicer buds, taste, this list goes on. It is one of the reasons I like to blend my weeds. I currently have five different kinds of weed and I like to mix and match based upon what kind of high I want. I would love to do the same thing with growing. I don't have the space, time or money to make that happen however so I just blend.

You sure you don't have those two mixed up? Widow is like 90% sativa.

Anyhow, I always like a salad bowl with a strong sativa and a strong indica..best of both worlds ya'know?

blending is nice because you get a mix of cannabinoids that may never occur in a single plant (without deliberate artificial selection).

i like my own-grown sativas. its a great mindfuck that doesnt turn you into a piece of the furniture.

honestly, i never know what i have. i've always thought a sativa would be my preference though.

the few times i've been told "names" for the bud it was northern lights (doubt it), white widow (maybe true), and recently; pineapple candy, cotton candy, strawberry cough, and hindu kush. they were all great bud (especially the kush) but since i'm no expert who knows...
they all just made me so talkative and hyper.

well kush's are typically indica. I'm like you, i rarely buy name brand weed. But I've had blueberry kush (+++), sour diesel (supposedly, +++ regardless) and super silver haze (++). I think the kush was a hybrid, diesel and haze are sativa.

i feel like i would have to build my tolerance back up to be able to tell the difference between *good* indica and sativa. proper nugget gets me so ripped...that's all i know.

i've always thought it would be hard to be a judge for the cannabis cup. one or two tokes, and i'd just be baked. i'd be too high to judge the rest. i'd do my best don't get me wrong, it would be tough though.

Ive talken to hating indica.. Cuz i like to do things when im baked (such as go to work or school) and it just takes away all my energy... Sativa ftw

A good hybrid is always nice since you get the best of both worlds...

I had some Jack Herer once.. by far the nicest bud I've ever had in my life.. anyways, the high was really sativa and I can't say I enjoyed it as much as I'd enjoy a hybrid.. it's a shame, 'cause man was that some fucking nice weed.. so many trichs, nicest light green.. made of a bunch of fluffy but dense as fuck little buds. Yumm.

And as for indica strains.. well, there was a shit load of m39 going around in highschool, so I'm tired of that shit... you become just way too lethargic.

Yea dude my buddy had jack herer a week or two ago it was definitely the best looking bud I have ever seen up close. I don't recall the high since we had a salad but goddam it looked good, ill get the pics from my friend and post em later.

lol. the trick would be a small sample of each, and would be based primarily on looks, taste, and smoothness. also, some strains have noticable differences in the highs (not just indica v sativa)

i prefer hybrid and try to buy strain names when i can, i went through a stage last summer where my friend was getting jack herer for 30 an 8th...that was unbelievable :D
