Hello everyone,

A friend and I came into a small supply of Ralivia and Tramacet. Both of these drugs are Tramadol(also known as Ultram) based painkillers.

The Ralivia contains 100mg of Tramadol in each pill.
The Tramacet contains 37.5mg of Tramadol and 325mg of Acetamenophen (Tylenol).

We started out slow, taking two Tramacet pills each, for a total of 75mg of Tramadol. We both got good effects from this, a calm / relaxed state and a felt good overall. We did this for two days before we decided to try the Ralivia.

We both took 2 Ralivia pills each for a total of 200mg of Tramadol. This time we didn't feel much of anything, though the negative effects were there (drowsiness, no sex drive).

We tried the Tramacet again and had good effects once again.

We couldn't understand why the 200mg of Ralivia did nothing, so we tried adding 1.5 grams of Acetamenophen with 200mg of Ralivia the next night. Again, nothing, not that I was really expecting it to help.

We still can't figure out why the Ralivia is doing nothing. The Tramacet is running out, while there is still lots of Ralivia. Both say they contain the exact same thing, Tramadol.

If anyone could help us understand why the Ralivia is doing nothing while the lower dose of Tramacet works well, we would appreciate it.

Thanks
Jimmy

my guess would be that the 100mgs are extended release, in which case I would suggest crushing them and eating or snorting them, depending on how big they are. I dont really have experience with this drug, but Id bet theyre ER.

Thanks for the quick response.

I'm pretty sure you are right, that the Ralivia is called Ralivia ER. I'm not sure what ER stands for but I'm guessing that means it is a slow release? Edit- I'm a idiot, I see that it stands extended release.

The Ralivia pills are quite small, much smaller than the Tramacet ones. Crushing them and eating them will cause them to release quicker?

Thanks for the help

Yes, it will. The ER stands for "Extended Release", as NorCali said.

I took 400mg of tramadol and had quite pleasant effects for over 6 hours (probably ER, though). I have never tried crushing up tramadol, so do a little research or start with a moderate dose.

Have fun.
