Fuck them. I don't mind people who drink every now and then and have a good time, but fuck my step dad. I used to have respect for him, but now I see he's nothing but a useless drunk who flips out if he can't have one beer. He claims he's going to take me to a mental hospital because I had one or two of his beers. Yet he goes around saying he's going to shoot the cats we have and he can't hold his liquor and fights about every little thing when he's drunk. But I'm the one with the problem? Fuck him. I hope he fucking dies in his sleep tonight.

He claims hes going to shoot the cats cause there's paw prints in the toilet, when he's the fucking douche who doesn't shut the lid after he's done.

sorry if that seemed random, but I love animals and when someone says they're going to do something to them, it pisses me off. he hunts, which im fine with, since he has a license. but if he even attempts to shoot the cats, i'll have him charged with animal cruelty.

I know he needs some AA meetings. He's attacked me before when he was drunk, cause he claims i never talk to him. im just naturually a quiet person in real life. ive actually pushed him through a window before and beat him up for pushing my mom when he's drunk. isnt't it ironic? i drink or do drugs, i don't bother anyone. he drinks, and he starts fights and makes an ass of hi self. yet im the one with the problem?

Alcohol is 100% naturally occurring. It is an organic compound, commonly produced from yeast fermentation of sugars. I agree that it is not a very good drug. It being addictive, damaging to the body and many people have a poor reaction to it.

Yeah, my dad does stuff like that when he is drunk, except he says it to me. Has only threatened to hurt me a few times, normally just says things about me having to leave, but he passes out soon after that. Luckily he stopped drinking as much not long ago.

I still don't drink at all though, haven't in about two years. Just isn't that fun for me.

Close, but: Imagine a cruel alcoholic person who takes delight in abusing those people closest to him. Then imagine him getting drunk, then fucked up on acid. Then insane. Some might think a community service was accomplished.

hey man I know how ya feel my step dad was just like that ( I am 18 ). And my mom drinks like 1 maybe 2 beers a night right. but he drinks alot of whiskey or used to haha. and one night he was just yelling at me cuz I have not found out what I want to do with my life ( I just graduated from highschool this past june ) So my mom got mad at him for being a ass to me and then he started yelling at my mom and pushed her so I got in his face ( he was so drunk he was stumbling around and could barely stand ) and he says " what you going to do bitch hit me " ha and he put his hands down to his sides and gave me the shot and I took it. I stuck the shit out of him with all my body weight behind it and planted it on his jaw and he just dropped.
but yeah ever since then he has sobered up maybe having one drink a night. but I still have no respect for him whatsoever.

sorry for the long read. just wanted to vent I guess ha.
and eversince I saw how uncontrolling he was I swore to never touch alcohol.

I don't understand why alcohol is legal. I have basically ruined my life in ways that I can't recover from, from drinking. Lost GF's, lost countless jobs from being too hungover to go in the next day, spent my last amount of my paycheck on beer instead of saving it towards rent, and totaled two cars, and am lucky to still be alive, and lucky I didn't kill anyone else.

Nothing good ever seems to come from drinking, especially when one crosses the point of being "buzzed," and ends up being actually "drunk."

People seem to be a lot more violent when they overdo it on alcohol, myself included.

I love alcohol too, but I can control myself. I still love the feeling and I dont like the people who overdo it like that. If you cant drink alcohol without having the urge to be violent and an asshole, you should have no right to drink it. But if you can drink responsibly, or control yourself to be that happy drunk, you can drink it. I at one time was an angry drunk, I was told by friend what happened and I stopped for awhile, got my life in order, and then I drank again, I was happy drunk. Its like a mood enhancer, if your sad, youll stay sad, if your angry your going to be angrier, but if your at piece and just wanna have fun, your gonna have it hehe.

I agree alcohol is great! (in moderation) And for those of you who are bashing their fathers they are people and they just have a problem. You need to help them not turn on them you know just love them don't hate them. I know it's hard but how would you feel if someone just gave up on you?

My friernd a couple years ago wrote a song about alcohol. It branched into a song abouit not just alcohol, but like pills and other fuck you up drugs in general. We made it like a free form jam just abouit drugs, and when i was in jail i used to love just singing songs and one time i was singin like "oohhhh alcohol oohhh alcohol, xanax bars and percocets gonna eat em up gonna eat real fast, alcohol" when some fuckin CO walked by fuckin funny shit hearin thems reaction.

@ the OP: It really sounds like your step-dad is an asshole, but there is hope.


I go to a 12 step meeting called Alateen, which is an offshoot of AA. It has really helped me to deal with many problems with my parents and life in general.

I would seriously recommend it, there should be a meeting in your area.


If you are 20+ years old, then you can't attend alateen, which is for teenagers, but there is also a program called Alanon, which is basically the same thing, but for adults.
