potentiating a dxm afterglow?

YES, weed. As for potentiating, things that potentate opiates WILL potentate DXM as well, since DXM is an opiate derivative. Grapefruit juice (to an extent) and some drug that beginsd with a C. Cimetadine also does it better than GF juice. It's called Tagamet.

i got catnip. i read that catnip can give a little buzz but dont know how true that is. would that help?

i do also have a glass bowl that needs cleaning. anyone know any quick methods to cleaning it that dont involve using multiple jars or acetone?

Catnip has never done anything smoked for me, but a strong tea will give a nice amount of sedation, try it out! I loooove the DXM afterglow, good to hear someone else likes it too.

You LIKE the DXM afterglow? I hate it so much, the muscles in my face feel like they are tight and I can't smile right, my hands shake a very noticable amount and I just feel so cold and shivery and terrible.

My friends and I have always loved the afterglow. We call it the aftermath. It kicks ass.

Maybe I get a different afterglow than some people. I like it. Especially when I get that euphoric feeling every time I yawn. Anyone else get that?

yeah, dxm is technically an opioid, glad to see someone else knows this, so whatever potentiates them will work. but the grapefruit juice only potentiates the dxm if you drink it a few hours before you dose, not after. it depresses the cytochrome p450 system which is what metabolizes a lot of drugs, so it lets more of the dxm get to your bloodstream unmetabolized. be careful if your on any other medication though. i also found that on certain dxm afterglows, i get different ones depending, that tobacco makes it kick in a little more too. but sometimes it doesnt and kinda makes it worse. on second thought, i think it was only when i would do a little bit of diphenhydramine before the dxm that i'd get that afterglow. smoking tobacco would make me extremely excitable and hyper like nothing ive felt before. not like what typical stimulants or uppers feel like, and i think it has to do with one of the acetylcholine receptors in the brain being a nicotinic one, so the choline thats being suppressed by the diphenhydramine is getting counteracted upon by the nicotine from the tobacco and would give me a good buzz. for just a dxm afterglow i found that coffee or anything with caffiene compliments the leftover dxm. the dxm makes the caffiene smoother and stronger and the caffiene makes the dxm stand out a little more. for me anyways.

Every time I use DXM my jaw gets very tight, and when i yawn i have to hold back to keep from puking, it's weird. I do get a nice happy feeling after a good yawn though. People do get different afterglows. Some get the euphoric, floaty, relaxed afterglow, some get the tense, sick feeling afterglow. Just depends on the person. As for the good afterglow, how could you not enjoy an extra day of mild but definitely noticable euphoria?

i get that tight jaw sometimes too, but not the vomiting thing. and sometimes on dxm, afterglow and main part, i'll be able to make my teeth chatter like if i was cold no matter how hot i am. i think thats pretty cool though and like it.

yeah the teeth chattering will pop up randomly at first, but then after that i can do it willingly for a while.
