Sometimes the most psychedelic and trippy ideas are that way because of personal attachment/adoration of that idea. So what i'm saying is you don't have to get the LSD chemical makeup tat or a "lucy" or " I <3 LSD" tat, it could be something totally simple that reminds you of your tripping history. But that's just my idea. I personally wouldn't get anything to "out in the open" something maybe a little more suttle that only certain people/the right people might understand.

Yeah alex greys stuff is really psychedelic, great for this area. Mad hatter blotter would be awesome but if you have some sort of professional job at any point make sure you can cover it. Like an upper arm tat. But again your preference is most important.
