I enjoy the discretness of a cannabis joint, but I cannot take more than a few tokes before I feel too stoned.
So:
I was wondering if anyone could recomend me me some herbs to use in a joint with cannabis.
I am not looking for plants based on their psychoactive strength, rather I am looking for the best/ least bad tasting herbs.
Infact they dont have to be psychoactive at all.
I was thinking perhaps blue lotus or Siberian motherwort aka Leonurus sibiricus. I have tried wild dagga and found the taste not to my liking.
Any recomendations?
thanks.

Bit obvious, but tobacco maybe? Helps if you already smoke it, but it makes your weed last longer and burn slower.

tobacco can intensify the weed high, which he doesnt want. plus it can be horrendous for you without filter.
ive dried dagga, and its not bad (use only flowers tho...the rest smells like fish food)

well your already thinking of a wort, but i was gunna suggest mugwort. it tastes pretty good, although it can be kinda overpowering if you use to much. but it also makes a good filler because you can put weed shake in it and mix it up and the weed shake gets evenly distributed throughout the mugwort fluff. if youve ever had mugwort before you know what i mean. i would suggest jimson weed too, but i know someone will say "you shouldnt recomend jimson weed, its too dangerous." but the truth of it is, when you smoke the dried leaves they dont have that kind of affect on you. i know from personal experience. the dried leaves arent even considered poisonous, only the fresh ones. you could smoke the flower too, it has more flavor, but i wouldnt, cause those might affect you when smoked, although ive personally never felt anything from smoking any part of the datura plant. and the dried leaves actually taste kinda like popcorn or something, i cant pinpoint the flavor.

whether or not you have felt it, i would advise not playing with datura. in the chance smoking it does bring on effects, it would not be plesent

you should try using mint or lemon based teas.

Yeah tea. I roll tea joints when I'm bored sometimes. Like stonerbill said lemon tea is good, so is green or any flavored like raspberry or blueberry.

see, i knew some jackass would say this crap. smoking datura is not dangerous like eating it. it might have some slight effect, but i think its half placebo. ive never experienced any noticable effects from smoking it other than a little pain relief and being able to breath better, but never any mental effects. remember, datura does have its medicinal values, its not just a deadly poison like everyone likes to focus on. you wont die or go delerious from smoking it, especially if your just using it to help fill out a joint.

first of all, even if im some "jackass", at least i dont smoke tealeaves like some desperate crackhead needing a fix.
second, i dont know much about datura's effects when smoked, but i would still advise people to be very cautious approaching that plant.

i dont smoke tea leaves like a crack head, we were just feinding for something to smoke. i enjoy smoking several plants, effects or not; thats just how i roll, im in touch with plants so to say. and i hope you didnt take to much offense about me calling you a jackass, i dont mean it in a mean way, i mean im a jackass too most of the time. but its just seems like everyone here only likes to focus on the negative aspects of datura, and it kinda gets to me sometimes. yes the plant is dangerous, and you should treat it with respect like youd treat anything powerful. but trust me, you'll be fine smoking a little of it if its dried, and if your still worried about it affecting you to much, remember: your smoking it. take small hits and if you get scared just stop, the effects will be more immediate and eaiser to judge if it does affect you like this anyway. but seriously, smoking datura, well at least datura inoxia, its the one in my town, will only affect you how smoking any plant matter would, with, im not gunna lie, maybe some other effects, but nothing more than slight mental effects, if you feel them, and some effects that are just more medicinal i guess you could say. its a slight bronchiodialator and an antiemetic, and you might get some allergy relief type effects, to get an idea of its medicinal effects.

Blue Lily worked really well when I mixed it in a nice rollie before. Also, a lot of those legal herbs stated above are key for a good joint as well. Be creative with it =D

To update this thread:
Mmm mugwort is good. A surprisingly pleasnt taste, very smooth and it didnt overpower the cannabis.

Tobacco is noooooooooooooooooot good and is very bad for you unless you organically grow your own! Considered Wild Dagga? it is a south african plant and is used alot in many smoking blends but also quite effective alone.

I think some one already said this, I dont feel like checking, but mint is supposed to be a fairly pleasant smoking admixture.
