Strep Throat

I found out i had strep throat yesterday, and finally got the antibiotics for it after three days of shitty ass symptoms. I tried so hard to get some narcotics for the pain but the dumbass old lady doctor didnt get it. Oh well, at least i have the antibiotics because i fucking HATE strep throat.

ha i just got over strep throat...like im still takin the antibiotics...strep sucks because it actually hurts to smoke!! --- i got prescribed tylenol 3 with codene...but thats probably not what you were hopin for either haha

damn, no not really. a lortab elixir was what i was really looking for. but i think th eproblem was that i went to an immediate care.

yeah i understand it would be rare if they gave me that, dont get me wrong. i just had a friend that got it last time he had strep. a bigass bottle at that.

yep, sure is. awhile back there was talk of me getting my tonsils out but it has be awhile since i have gotten strep until now. in elementary school i would get it at least once a year maybe twice. but one year i got it once, then anohter two times right in a row. fuck strep.

Ya, shit, I use to get strep like 3 times a year when I was 14-16. They wanted to take them out the last time I got it, around 16. I said fuck that , I'm not getting sick anymore. Doctor said "I bet you'll be back here in 3 months, then will you get them taken out?" I haven't had it since. fuckin butcher. ahah

i've had strep a couple times. usually what happened for me is that i would wake up with a fever, so i would have to stay home from school. then the next day i would wake up with the worst sore throat imaginable, but without the fever. damn that shit blew. for me it only takes 2-3 days for the sore throat to clear up after taking the antibiotics.

OP, make sure you eat plenty of pro-biotics (yogurt, anything that is "cultured") after you are done taking anti-biotics


because the anti-biotics kill all the beneficial bacteria in your intestines and the have to be repleneshed.
