So I just had a revelation so I think I was born a stoner like I was growing into a stoner before I even smoked got high even knew what getting high was. I didn't smoke for the first time until I got to college I think I was 18 or so. But growing up I liked stoner shit and didn't know it was stoner shit lol. I loved listening to sublime 311 bob hendrix lynard skynyrd and led zeppelin n other shit of that nature growing up so I ask myself was I born a stoner was I destined to get high and live this life of stonedom....that's some deep shit but I am high right now to :D

Yea but when you are talking about people that drink you don't call them "drinkers or alcoholics" you say "Oh yea so and so really likes to get drunk". I'd rather someone say that I like to blaze than calling me a stoner or pothead.

I don't know if this is totally relevant to this thread but I love watching little kids faces when they spin sooooo much that they get dizzy and fall over and then try to walk and realize the world they once knew is now a tilted, wobbling mess! I think it just says that it's in our nature to want to alter our perceptions

I remember doing that when I was kid.
Hell, I still do it to this day, sometimes.
I know that I did it when I was in Rehab, lol.


...I think it's predetermined and/or genetic.
There are people that are in their 50's and have never toked.
I started smoking on my twelfth birthday, for eight years now.
And I can remember seeing my dad roll joints up in the kitchen when I was a little girl.
And I smoke pot with my dad now. I have smoked with him since I was fourteen.

It seems like it's genetic, more than predetermined.

I got stuck with the genetic trait of wanting to feel good all the time.

It may be genetic, my dad was really into psychedelics back in the day...we talked about drugs recently and he surprised me with his knowledge. I knew he had some experience, but I only thought he dabbled. He even knew about the 2Cs and shit.

My mom wasn't into psychedelics so much but she definitely smoked the ganj back in the day.
