I have a few favorite drugs: marijuana/hash is def. #1, but I also love nitrous oxide, various opiates, mushrooms and mdma. Acid is great, but I think for me it lasts too long. Yayo is cool in small amounts.. but I don't think its a favorite.

Pharms are freakin' magic... but it was a ten choice limit in the survey, and pharms covers such a variety, so I was thinkin' a lotta people who prefer codeine and the like could pick opiates.

Depending on your state, you usually don't have to go to school to be a tech. You have to pass an exam, but most employers offer training programs. I wouldn't waste the money or time with pharmacy tech school, unless you have too.

of the drugs i have tried i would have to say ether is my favorite. it is a carcinogen (when mixed with hexane in starter fluid), causes obvious brain cell frag, and can kill you but its worth it in short term use. nothing i have tried beats the body high, visual distortions, and mental alterations. its got the best qualities of opiates, anesthetics, and hallucinagens all in one.

i love mdma. thats the first drug i ever had (even before weed) but the only problem with it is that it WILL fuck up your brain if you use it too much. i know people and can tell you bad stories about long term damage from frequent use. it screws up your motor skills horribly, other than that its wonderful. i only do it about once or twice a year, and those are the happiest days of the year

I agree that MDMA should only be used sparingly... Like all hard drugs. But the results of MDMA causing brain damage have been inconclusive at best. Any people who tell you that thats happened to them are anecdotal... the very thing proven by science that you can't rely on.

All the data on MDMA isn't in, but that hole in the brain stuff isn't real... all that testing was done by george ricatures... which he later admited to malpractice... the things he was testing was Methamphetamine which has been proven to cause brain damage. those tests were a sham.

Well, obviously I smoke more weed than do anything else, but that is not the most fun drug out there, only my staple. I choose LSD because I love the long trip, especially at festivals, I love the price - its a bargin compared to mushrooms (unless you grow/hunt) and I think that the visuals are cooler on acid. I too love E, although I've only done it 3 times. Candyflipping is the shit though.

Weed is of course the thing I do the most, but not my favorite. That title goes to DMT. Ironically its intensity makes it one of my least used drugs. Only about once a month if that.

I just like the entire process of oral consumption. Starting off early in the morning by collecting and grinding the roots. Then letting them simmer for most of the day while I say a few prayers, get everything in order, and sometimes smoke cannabis.

Then night finally falls and the exotic brew is consumed. What happens next is pure magic. I feel no transition, one minute I'm eagerly anticipating the start and the next I'm submerged in a totally alien universe being bombarded with a seemingly infinte amount of visions and universal truths. During the beginning there's always that inital wave of pure terror once you realize what's happening. No matter how many times I do it I'm always shocked by the intensity and beauty of the visions. But the fear is quickly replaced with a childlike awe that always unfolds as one of the best experiences of my life. Black Jurema indeed:)

Well I feel I'm really inexperienced to decide a favorite drug. But from the ones I have only done weed, x and coke (in that same order). The last one, I would pretty much say there's nothing to it, so that's why I found myself doing it a couple of more times, but still there was really nothing to it.
It's hard chosing a favorite between weed and x. I mean they are too different to compare. But I mean when I think of MDMA I feel the same rush, I felt the first time I did it. Its great.. I believe that's a drug that everyone should experience, I feel soo much in tune with the world, with myself.
But weed.. how many toughts have came to my head, how many things I have discover, how many things I have written, how hard have I laugh, how simply entertained have I been. Weed makes you enjoy the simplicity of life, while you complicate it :p. You can talk for hours on how the light reflects on the floor. It's incredible.
When I finish the things my to-do list, I need to come back here.. if anything changes.

^I wouldn't really call it a drug considering it is produced within the brain itself, but the practise of taking it is much the same as some other substances, only it has no addictive qualties and isn't even habit forming. Certainly not on a day to day basis (not for me anyway, and people I know).
Despite this it is probably the most potent hallucinogen. I voted 'other', DMT is the only substance I would put into my body if it was always suitably available. Well, that and Ayahuasca (DMT is the main active ingredient of).

I was on a good LSA trip and took two huge hits of DMT.....it put ME in the dessert, on the other side of the planet, approximately 2000 years ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay... DMT whilst on acid, that is a bizarre combination, I've done that too :) I think I would have trouble not doing LSD again, it has to be in moderation though... hmmm, I have a habit of eating my words very quickly when I make statements like that, moderation is one of those words that by it's very nature tempts you to find where it truly lies time and again.

Yeah... I couldn't find/didn't look very hard for the proper DMT molecule, cheers though, I can edit it now ya told me... I did a form of DMT that has a more complex structure, it might have been that one but I think not, you can snort it unlike the proper stuff.. didn't seem to do that much and it wasn't particularly pleasant.

No, it ain't a drug... I went through a period with DMT where I found it a hard experience to make myself go through, I wanted to do it because I found it invigorates me, seems to somehow enhance my minds ability to perform for sometime after (a day or so) ... and then there is the trips themselves which I could try to describe but there just isn't any point trying as you well know...

When I said it was a hard experience for me to go through, I meant it is so over powering, I tend to feel large amounts of apprehension to conquer, bit like going on an extreme ride (oblivion at alton towers) only far better/different. Although once I got used to doing it fairly regular (2/3 times a week) I adjusted and became relaxed with the process of taking it in. I haven't done it for a while now though, not sure how I would feel faced with it after such a long break. Although I'd love to do so.

Well, you obviously find it easier to explain your DMT experiences than me, although mine were a while ago now, but no doubt your explanations don't even come close to the actual experience. If you haven't done it then it will be even less imagineable. It is absolutely impossible to get any idea of what it's like until you do it. I read up loads of experiences before I did DMT but that didn't prepare me for what happened, in my first experience I was launched into a pink abyss where I was floating/drifting in what seemed to be a wide orbit around a vast DNA strand... but I find the exact details of what happened fades very quickly, particularly on experiences after that one. I generally feel the hum of my brain functioning, like my brain is breaking down into nothing, dislocation, emergence into another dimension (for want of a more descriptive word). But very often what takes place does so at a very fast rate. I would have a lot of trouble counting at the speed in which all takes place... whizzing as though I am witnessing the electric charges charging around my nervous system... I think the world really does need to experience this, everyone that is, dislocation from ones self gives a much broader perspective to the infinite.... stoned is not a word that should be used for smoking weed, you don't get stoned on weed, you get dull in end, everybody is smoking and no-one is getting high, that can't happen with DMT, you don't build a tolerance to it and you are enhancing yourself instead of filling your body with dangerous damaging chemicals... Stoned is a feeling of awareness, stoned immaculate.... that's a feeling I only ever achieved to a minor degree with weed when I first smoked it, now it does nothing but hinder my functioning. Maybe that's just me?

2. Only very few people prefer alcohol. I guess, if someone has once tried some really good stuff, alcohol isn´t very much interesting any more.
3. Hallucinogenes (esp. LSD and shrooms) are on their way back after the 90s mostly belonged to amphetamines and their relatives.
4. The majority of the posters prefer cannabis - and most of them even don´t see it as a "drug" in the classic sense.

These results are quite interesting, so I allowed myself, to mail the location of this poll to a good friend. He´s a professor of medicine (psychiatry) at the Hannover Medical School, here in Germany (and he does a lot of studies on drugs). Only in the first page of this thread I saw a few votes for caffeine; I will have to agree. Caffeine blows most drugs out of the water, and it's legal.

I just finished three power drinks and I feel so high right now; I have a test in about 11 hours and I am staying up all night all the way up to the next day when I have to take the test.

Caffeine always makes me feel high. I don't drink coffee, though; I drink Mountain Dew and power drinks to stay awake and active. I notice also that caffeine stimulates my creativity, and at times it stimulates my sexual drive (mentally).

Caffeine carries no side effects for me; I have no nausea, no hangover, no nothing. It's such a wonderful drug and I suspect the reason why people don't recognize it so much is because it is so ubiquitous.

LSD and psilocybin are in no way related to amphetamines....AMT,possibly 5-meo-amt, DOI, and all the 2C compounds, and MDMA are related...but definately NOT LSD and mushies.if you're going to bother to try to correct someone, at least try to get somewhere close to the truth. AMT stands for alphamethyltryptamine, it (and it's close cousin, 5-MeO-AMT) are both TRYPTAMINES and related to LSD and psilocybin, even if it is somewhat stimulating. it is in no way related to phenelthylamines such as the 2C- series, amphetamines, MDMA type drugs, or mescaline.

lol its kinda sad to say, but i'm 16 and i've slowed down on my drug use... thats kind of bad i guess, i'm not liking this whole lots and lots of drugs in retro-spect, i'm like a 17 year old kid thats already been thr0ugh a drug phase and gotten over it. for like 2 solid years it was nothing but pot almost every day, after a year of that, it was blowin somethin about once a week, i know that doesn't sound bad to some but that shit bugs me, i feel all junkie and stuff. coke is great and terrible at the same time. i would go in on a gram with a buddy, feel all like, o man i'm headed in the right direction, droppin 25 bucks on a night of coke, then start blowin it grindin my teeth, flickerin my eyes smoking 300 cigarettes, what the fuck thats not cool right lol. you gotta look at these things from the outside, picture yourself not a druggie, and think about doing coke and shit that is fucked up i'm sorry i'm rambling but i'm gonna continue. for like 4 motnhs i did shrooms like every week or every other week, that got me depressed, i won't touch that shit again, nor will i blow anything ever again, no more coke.... no more oc's.... ooo how i liked those seguls mmm. but you know, it sounds lame and all, but now that i'm not a hippy much anymore, like i still think the same a little, i just dress nice and cut my hair, girlfriends you know how it is right..lol but yeeeah all i do now is the occasional blunt ride which is such a treat now instead of a necessity. no more cigarettes either feels sooooo good. and i booze every weekend. yo other teens in the midst of being potheads who sit around doing random drugs adn with a close group of friends, i have to say, if you change it up, wear some stylin threads, get a 12 pack and go to a party, you'll have a much better high school experience. i know i sound like a trendy asshole, but seriously and i want you to take this into consideration. i dress preppy kind of now, gel my hair now, and get girls, and have great times at parties just getting wasted wiht my good budy alchol and 25 other kids doin the same. i look back on having long ass hair, dressing weird as fuck, and not being very good friends with anyone beside my hippy associates who i would just get high with ever day, and i can safely say my life is 10 times better now. you don't have to cahnge your personality to have fun. idk this probably sounds really gay to everyone btu i just felt like spreadin the word. if you got this far thanks for taking in my thoughts lol.

as far as psychedelics i love DPT, LSD, 2C-E and higher levels of mushrooms or even occasionally DXM for serious trips....i rarely use psychedelics anymore, though.

2C-B, lower doses of mushrooms, and MD- compounds are all great for just "playing around" fun trips. i almost never do this anymore at all.

i absolutely love opiates and muscle relaxants or tranquilizers in general. i adore downers, and as such only allow myself to indulge in them on very rare occasions. i could see myself developing a problem with these, so i make sure i have at least a couple months between use these days.

cocaine and standard amphetamines are alright on occasion, in very small doses and with lots of time between. they aren't that enjoyable for me.

as far as what i ENJOY the most i'd have to say downers/opiates. as far as what i revere the most i'd say the strong psychedelics such as DPT, LSD, 2C-E, and psilocybian mushrooms. as far as whats my bread and butter, my fallback, my general enjoyment...i'd say cannabis, alcohol, coffee and tobacco....the standard american drugs ;)

i hate to say it, but strictly in terms of pure enjoyment, with no other criteria placed on it, my absolute favorite would be 2C-B. pleasant (not jittery) stimulation, perfectly pleasant and very easy to come by but mild patterning and other visual effects, wonderful trippy/stony mindset, and relatively short length of action....its one of the most appealing drugs there is, in my opinion, if you're STRICTLY looking for fun with almost no negative body load.

that said, i dont really consider it very useful outside of clinical research/therapy. i think LSD and mushrooms are really great, and both are among my favorites. i'd say mushrooms outrank LSD only slightly.

DPT is the most profound psychedelic i've used, and i must say has earned my respect like almost no others.

but for daily use, cannabis is king. i drink a lot when i can't smoke, which i realize is unhealthy. really, i just absolutely lot pot and if i had to pick one or the other, i'd pick grass hands down without a moments hesitation!

as for stimulants, i love the taste of coffees and teas, but caffeine is a lousy drug. it makes me all jittery and sick feeling if i drink too much of it, and the crash is terrible. i also hate cocaine for similar reasons, but also because it makes me paranoid and such.

the perfect stimulant, though, i find to be coca. coca tea is wonderful - a bit less stimulating than coffee if you just drink a cup, but much more pleasant. stronger when extracted into vodka, but still not jittery, paranoid, or prone to nasty crashes when used in reasonable doses simply as a pick-me-up or a "rejuvenating tonic"...good for anything where you need a little additional mental clarity, alertness, and energy but dont want something with a negative body load. even when i had tons of this stuff, i never developed a habit. it was very nonaddictive in my experience.

as for downers, if i need sleep or just some R&R and have the time to use them, just about anything is fine with me

but as far as favorite drugs overall....i'd have to say cannabis, mushrooms, and 2C-B

i would have to say being truly stoned from cannabis is the best high. i smoke it all day everyday and get regular effects but every now and again you get so wacked out youe vision is fucked and your just laughin and shit with your friends. speed doesnt do to much to me cept keep me awake and extremely agitated and violent(i feel like i could punch anyone, do whatever ect ect). Extacy and acid together make a pretty good mix, even tho you feel like complete shit the next day. ketamine was pretty fun the few times i tried it.

The best one for me is a combination. You take Lsd and mushrooms as lsd starts kicking you have some weed, after 2 hours you take mdma and when acid is fading a little bit you finish it up with some cat.

I guess i was not thinking much first time I did that, but my experience is that if you let psychedelics lead you there is no mistake. You let the beautiful feeling of love that feels your chest to lead you and you feel like home. Never happened to me that i cannot walk, talk, or even freak out. Never had a bad trip or passed out.But I guess you have to be complete person for that without problems and with enough self-esteem. Sure I was seeing geometrical patterns and feeling connection with everything and even telephaty with friends, etc.,but COMBO IS THE BEST from my experience.
One more thing: Never took it alone always with friends cause i always have that feeling of sharing that beauty with whole world and my happiness is reflecting on the smiles of a people that surround me.

LSA is also one of my favorites. High doses (like 800 MG seeds) feel A LOT like acid, with some more amazing feelings thrown in and some elements removed. A very worthwhile drug if you can get a hold of a good amount of seeds. I think mixing LSA and another visual drug would complete the experience.

Different drugs generally have different effects. While the usual someone who takes psychedelics with an understanding of the drugs background nature, their intent may be to have some sort of mind-opening experience on humanity and society as a whole... A better understanding pretty much, only self-induced. When you do stimulants, or opiates, it's generally to feel better, or achieve a certain 'feeling' or physical state that's 'feels' good. Totally different, in my opinion. Though it is kind of a loop hole some can not escape, usually people on LSD can realize how the use of certain drugs can be 'bad' for them, and even sometimes LSD itself.. causing problems. However, psychedelics seem to have the most potential for some sort of new altered outlook on life, rather than going unconscious in pleasure or rushes for 15 minutes.

I hate alcohol. If I drink (which is extremely rarely) I only drink to get a nice buzz. I've been trashed and had horrible experiences before, and it just makes me look like a mess. I do however love being around drunk people and alcohol always makes a party more interesting. Ecstasy is great to, but it's just so annoying listening to somoene rolling talking a mile a minute. Weed isn't a party drug, but it's always fun at party's nonetheless.

I drank about 2-3 shots from a bottle of 40% rum (I think it was rum) and I got a nice buzz. It actually sobered me up if that makes sense. I was stoned out of my skull and when I took the shots my mind became a bit clearer, and I ended up going home after that.
