So I'm 16, and when I tried to buy 2 bottles of Robo at CVS, I told them my age and she gave me a sheet of paper saying "CVS: Helping to Stop Teen Cough Medicine Abuse". It was terrible. So, CVS doesn't let people under 18 buy cough medicine, who does???

All you have to do is go to a store that sells the cough medicine and has self checkout. A LOT of places will ID you, but self checkouts make it easier for you to buy them and be off. You have be 19 to buy Coricidin here. It's ridiculous.

but then i got the net, and buying it from a online pharmacy was a piece of cake.

in vegas they don't give a shit what you buy... Im so lucky... sorry for all the trouble you've been having, hopefully you'll find a store that will sell to you. if you have a longs near you, i'd try that. but the easiest way would be to just go to a self checkout at smiths or somewhere.

And no, but there are people who watch the self checkouts. Usually just one person who has a screen in front of them that has 4 split screens and shows what everyone is buying.

in vegas, the rarely card for DXM containing products, i've been carded 1 or 2 times and im 20 lol. any pseudoephedrine product also requires you to be 18, and they take down alot of your info too.

I was trying to buy a bottle of robitussen at wal mart once, because I had a legitimate cough. Didn't let me even though I could barely talk because I had phlegm in my throat. Also, this was in Alaska. I didn't know they had mexican immigrants in AK, but they sure enough did, who knew?

What i do is i go to shoppers, and i dont buy at the pharmacy section but right at the pharmacy section, down one isle they sell robotussin and everything, so i just bring however many i need to buy to the front, the people at the front checkout usually dont know shit about any dxm

at walmart i found that some cashiers card, and some dont, they just give you a glance up and down, say how old are you, you say 18, they sell it to you, heck some dont ask any questions. and its weird, all the dxm containing products are right there in the isle except coricidin, you have to take a card up to the pharmacist to get it. but at the 99cent store in my town they never card or ask my age.

Haven't tried buying any lately, but I'm sure they would card here. Clovis is the most stuck up, goody-goody town I have been to.
