As a general rule, NEVER drink in combination with pills. Not to say it will always be bad, but it is a safe to say that it is not a good thing to do.

lol. eating benzos and drinking is my pasttime now. I do it every weekend. I did it last night. But drank too much and blacked out lol. But its safe and fun if you know your limits.

he probably completely forgot he created this thread now... alc + benzo = blackout city..

oh.. to answer the OP.. depending on the benzo.. like clonazepam.. your best bet is to let it dissolve under your tongue...

Simple. If you drink First and are drunk THEN take downers you
might go the way of Jimi Hendrix,Jon Bonham etc.
If you take the xanax first and then sip a few beers after the xanax has kicked in
you will be mellow. It's a sequence thing. Everyone is different.
