* Damiana
Herb from the subtropics that counteracts chronic loss of sexual power. Damiana has a reputation as a powerful woman's herb with its progesteronic action and powerful aphrodisiac properties. It acts as a tonic to the central nervous system, urinary, reproductive, digestive, and respiratory systems. Damiana is also useful in the treatment of vaginal dryness.:):)

Damiana is used as a general tonic for the nervous, hormonal, and reproductive systems. It has an ancient reputation as an aphrodisiac. Some claim damiana tea has a relaxing effect not-unlike low doses of cannabis. Others argue that Damiana has no active ingredients, and that its medicinal reputation is based on damiana tonics from the late 1800s which were inactive, or contained enough alcohol and/or coca to produce unrelated effects

sorry to burst your bubble dude, but damiana aint shit. and maybe you should go to erowid and read, cause it says exactly that same shit, that its a tonicand an aphrodisiac. i can tell you from personal experience though that its niether of those. its an all right tasting tea though, i'll give it that. but there are no effects to be felt at all from damiana. you can try for yourself, but i guarantee you will be disapointed. you can smoke it, eat it or make a tea from it to answer your question on how to prepare it though. and as for what to try while "on" it, you can try to feel some effects.

You bought it thinking you were going to have some sort of crazy experience? Maybe it'd worthwhile if you mixed it with other entheogens. Mix it with kava/kratom/blue lotus

Ypu don't smoke weed because you 'care about your image'? Wow. Weed is the greatest things ever. Or one of them, and I'm sure many can agree. Screw what other people think.

you care about you looks yet your asking stupid questions about herbal supplements that with a bit of research you could find out about for your self before wasting your money and time then getting pissed off about it. Honestly id rather be a stoner :P

dudes chill... I just don't want sleepy eyes from smoking pot. and also when I used to smoke weed daily I became withdrawn from people and was really quiet and chilled out when I am usally very outgoing and hyper and joke telling and stuff..... and that was not me, not to mention the paranoia I get from it and the sad thoughts I get when i'm high... So i am looking for an alternative... dont get me wrong I still some pot, but only every now and then. Also I'm trying to get a job, and you get drug tested.

Okay kids, Take it from someone with a lot of experience with damiana, It is super awesome, but you won't get high from it. However, in addition to its many health benefits, It increases circulation, especially to genitalia, so it has been used as a sexual stimulant in many cultures for a long time. It also helps with bladder infections because of that. It helps with depression, anxiety, and it is a very very slight muscle relaxer because of its help with circulation, and so basically it chills you out. The chemical in damiana is currently used as medicine for fatigue. It doesn't necessarily give you energy it just makes your body not fatigued. so physically your body feels like it can handle a lot more stress. One of the more prominent effects of it that i can't really find anywhere but everyone that i have introduced damiana to has reported the same, It gives you LUCID DREAMS like mad! You will dream hours and hours of realistic dreams every night. This happens when you smoke a little every day for a few days, or the tea is a lot faster, if you have a cup or two a few hours before bed you will most likely have a few lucid dreams. I would like to explore how it reacts with different psychedelics. I've heard it makes them much more potent and effective, but I'm not sure. If anyone has any info on that, let me know
PS. it is a kick ass substitute for cigarettes
