I'm heading down to Mexico in about 2 weeks. I've wanted to try Absinthe for a long time, but, being in the United States, I haven't really had the chance to try quality stuff.

Is Absinthe legal in Mexico? Like, the legit kind with wormwood in it?

Also, while I'm asking... my friend thought he's seen Peyote in markets, but I've seen online that Peyote is scheduled in Mexico. Can someone shed some light on this?

Bro if you want Absinthe go to Europe, their you can find Absinthe bars (bars designated for the Absinthe experience) and top Absinthe brands everywhere. However there are alotta things to do in Mexico which are more fun than Absinthe. Plus to me the whole feel of Mexico doesnt got well with the Absinthe mood, Id stick to Tequila and Coronas there. You can get "ANYTHING" you want there, anything. Sorry I couldnt help you, however Im gonna google it now and see.

Or buy some here in the states at drinkupny.com or any large liquor store. It's been legal here for almost a year.
