making thc oil [Archive]

i wanted to make thc cake and i was i thought that you heat the oil in a frying pan with the bud and then after a little while of letting the bud cook in the pan you strain out the buds and just use the oil for the cake i herd of this before but wanted make sure if it is the right way or wrong way of doing it please correct me if im wrong
