This obviously is dedicated to ladyred222 and her father. It would only seem right due to the nature of how this was devised that this would be separate from my main thread.
Daddy n' Me
When I was a little girl,
My Dad and I were together all the time.
He would take me on these walks,
To a big rock we called the "spotted rock".
It was our special place.
He would tell me about religion,
Nature,
People,
And how to feel them with my soul.
He would point out all the edible and medicinal plants to me,
Put me on his soulders so I could try and touch the sky.
As I grew into a woman,
We became as close as a father and a daughter,
EVER ARE!
When we talked,
It seemed the world was a peaceful and kind place.
Daddy was my rock,
My tree.
The branch,
Does not fall far from the tree,
As you see...
I look at my tree,
And I see Daddy n' me.
