Need Help, Closet Growing

Ok, i wanna start a plant or 2 growing in a small lil closet... bout 3ftx3ft.

Ive been doin mass amounts of research naturally an i keep hearing different Wattage for lamps e.t.c

what would you guys recommend, 2 plants, 3ftx3ft.

Start from 12/12 at day 1 to get them to flower an grow smallish?

Could use a damn step-by-step guide if any of ya'll are baked an wanna hook me up :P

Total Growing Newbie - so please - any advice you can give would be great... Also the seeds im usin for now are just ones retrieved from a 1/2oz bought from my ' guy ' nothin fancy or named extravagantly, regular 'ole herb. Ill name the plant after the person that gives me the info!!!

I think I can help you out, Ill get you a link with sumtin good on it. If your worried about the size of the plant, bagseed is not a good idea. You have no idea if its indica or sativa. For all we know, although oubtful, that plant could grow 8 feet tall or 2. I suggest getting some seeds from www.hemcy.com (http://www.hemcy.com). Get a puprebread indica. I recomend HINDU KUSH. Im growing some right now and they are quite a lovely mother fukin plant man. Ill get that link now.

A 3'x3' area will require a 400 or a 430 hps to supply plants adequate light to be happy with the outcome(25 watts per sqft in veg and 50 for flower),430 is better..You will need a active air system to maintain temps,atleast a 140 cfm dayton fan to move hot air out and another for fresh air intake as well(heat/stale air kills).The best advice one can be given is to get a book and research.Peace

Yea when i get paid i think im gonna get some of that mean lookin shit from hemcy.com :)

only problem im seeing right now is ventilation, but im sure ill come up with somethin. 400W HID? or a couple of Flouro's? 27W with high Lumen output?

Would getting a small humidifier and or ionizer help also - for heat/RH and smell?

Never thought it would be this difficult, im just tired of spending 200$+ on ganja every 9 days lol. I just wants a lil plant to get me by lol. Not a grow bay of 900 White Widows, where ya walk into the room an ur stoned :) tho hey it would be nice lol.

Should i have the light cycle goin 12/12 right from when it pokes its tasty lil head out the soil? just so it flowers faster an grows smaller? Yield isnt really my main concern. As long as i get an ounce or more - ill be happy :)

Like mean said- get a 430 hps with a full spectrum bulb, they run cooler than halides.


Your ventilation will be just as important as the lighting.

What do you enjoy most about the outdoors? fresh air and sunshine right?
Dont forget your girls need fresh air like i did. Three fans> one for intake, one for exhaust, one for curculation. the curculation should be around 100- 120 for your closet. but an 80 will work, just not as well. Use two 150 cfm daytons for intake and exhaust.

A friend of mine had 500 plus watts in a small closet and handled the heat by sacrificing one reflective side an leaving the door open while the lights are on. The house air handled it just fine.

Geck,I think you will be back in full force shortly,but yes I know the feeling as I have a cople more weeks till I can remedy that same empty feeling.Gave me alot of time to reconsolidate and upgrade tho.Peace to ya bro
