LSA Extraction from Morning Glories

Is engine starter fluid (contains diethyl ether) a sufficient non-polar solvent to use in extracting LSA? Also, after doing the non-polar extraction step, how long do i leave the gunk sitting in the alcohol before letting evaporate? I'm using lemon extract as the ethyl alcohol (like 87%)

EDIT: I had already checked Erowid, but these questions weren't answered anywhere on there, nor on google, so I figured I'd ask them here. Erowid says diethyl ether can be used because it is a highly volatile solvent, but obviously I can't get my hands on pure diethyl ether lol, so i figured engine starter fluid would do. the liquid is evaporating afterwards anyway, so i don't think i would be ingesting any of the nasty chemicals. i'm pretty sure i can get naphtha but i have to wait until tomorrow. i just wanted to look into the ether beforehand just in case, you know?

Starter Fluid? I dont think that sounds very healthy. Erowid has a huge section on LSA extraction. You should check it out.

Starting fluid is a mixture of Volatility (chemistry)|volatile]] hydrocarbons (heptane, butane and propane), dimethyl ether (as a propellant),carbon dioxide.

not all dimethyl ether, This method of extraction is a super waste of time.

Cold water.. is all you really have to do.

Nothing has ever made MG seeds into some super psychedelic drug...

yeah but cold water doesn't always get the shit chemicals out..plus it still tastes nasty and can cause nausea. extracting lsa compresses the amount, saves nausea, and gets the bad shit out..

Yeah any extraction with less would really be a waste of time. I just have a thing about inhaling toxic gas while doing a simple extraction. Also the cost of such chemicals is also high for a buzz thats not really all that special..
I dont get sick from them, So I guess Im not all that big on methods that could be potentally harmful to your health. Or dangerous should you not understand the Flammability of Ether..
Your trying to seperate the good from the bad, Could just use Butane, and a cooling bin to prevent evaporation of butane, That requires Dry Ice. or a really cold room.
Butane will evaporate quick and the rince extraction follows that. < I dont know how to type Chemical extractions and explanations.. Cause its a hands on thing..

Im not putting you down for trying. I just also think the natives didnt have all this chemical stuff we have today and they did just fine..
