So last night me, my bf, and 2 friends were in my room smoking a couple bowls. I opened up my window in my room because it was getting real smoky in my room. Well my 2 friends leave and it's just me and my bf.
We hear somebody yelling into my window, so my boyfriend goes to see who it is and its the cops yelling for us to open my front door. I tried to hurry and hide the weed and went and opened the door.
The cops were yelling at first, and saying they couldn't even stand to be in my room because of how bad it smelled like weed :tongue:
They said that I could either confess and give them all my weed shit, or they could seal the house up and bring in the dogs. It's obvious that I was smoking weed, so I just said I'll give it to ya.

The cop took my bowl, my dime bag, some papers, a zippo, and my little grateful dead bag i keep it all in. After that, 2 cops just kept asking why we do drugs, and we are addicts, and blah blah and drugs are bad.
All the cops left, except for one.. and he explained to me that I could get 1 1/2 years of probation and yadda yadda, but he let me off with a disorderly conduct since I cooperated. The cop said if he doesn't see me anymore this school year, that at my court date he'll let me off and give me nothing.

I'm so happy about that.. but god damnit, my bowl and weed is gone :(

yeah, i thought the same thing afterwards, but all my shit was hidden together, so when i got the weed to give to the cop, the bowl was sitting right there too..
and plus if i didn't give them all my shit, they were willing to search my room, so i figured just be safe and give it all up, ya know?

the cops are aloud to just walk in like that, in canada the cops have to ask you if they can come in you dont have to let them. But that really sucks that had happend all smoke a bowl for ya lol

we had to let the cop in.. he was at my window yelling in for us to open up the door. luckily that gave us time to attempt to hide the weed and dump out our beers and shit. but no i don't think they can come in without you letting them in.

yeah the cops here have been pretty shitty too. the other night they were busting people that were drinking, and arrested my friend. they told me last night that this was their night to bust people doing drugs. that's why they came here.. fuck!

but yeah, i'm glad i won't be charged for marijuana posession and all the other stuff he told me. but it's a story to tell i guess!

I was talking to an Officer (I'll call him an officer because he actually earned my respect a bit) at Tufts University during thier 4/20 celebration. Basically he was just there to make sure nothing crazy happened but he wasnt going to bust people for smoking.

We got to talking and he was like "If it was up to me pot would be legal, I smoked it as a kid and I know its nothing worse than alcohol." Then I got to talking about how much of an impact on legalization it would make if a large group of like minded officers got together to form a group along the lines of Cops for the Legalization of Marijuana, and how they could say that marijuana prohibition makes their job less effective because they concentrate so much time and money on busting us when harsher crimes are being commited and going un noticed.

Unfortuneately even though he thought that that would be a pretty strong and listened to group he said that most of his fellow officers arent as informed on the topic as they should be and it would be hard to organize such a thing. Oh well it was fun to at least find one cool officer.

i used to live in a building, where my friends lived on different floors, but int he same building. we were a tight group of friends. about 5 in total, and we'd always meet up for joints cause it was pretty much just an elevator ride away.
anyway, long story short, this guy that didn't livein the building but would chill with us all the time actually became a cop. it wasn't over night, but he wasn't exactly forth coming about it either. so clearly, i didn't know.
one day i burst into dwayne's apartment with a giant joint, comparable to the length of a wendy's biggie sized cup. i'm all excited and was like, "who wants to get soned?" holding up the massive spliff.
strangely enough everyone had their heads down, and wouldn't answer. it was strange. then someone leans and whispers in my ear, "adrian's a cop now"

Yeah I hate most cops. There are a few that actually have a sense of objectivity though, and can realize you're not hurting anyone. Whenever I got arrested for driving on a suspended license, the cop let me pay for the gas I had just stolen and didn't charge me for stealing it, and he also let me keep the bubbler that was in my car. It was still in the car when I got the car back from the impound lot. haha

That's still a shitty situation Sara. You're right though.....it could've been a lot worse, so be thankful. I bet them cops smoked your weed........fuckin bitchfucks.
