Hello everyone, my name is Keyth, this is my first post.
About a year ago my doctor was trying me out on different pain meds for my back when she did a random piss test and found darvocet which she didn't prescribe. So you can imagine what happened next, she sent me to the psychiatrist and recommended eval. etc.
This really fuckin sucked since my doctor is on the board of directors at the hospital I go to and she had JUST finished creating a new pain management program that consisted of physical therapy, narcotic pain med Rx's, and weekly narc. injections! to patients who qualify - qualify as in "pass piss tests"! So yeah I was a little more than upset but I had a good relationship with my doctor and she decided to give me another chance since she understood pain and was pro narcotics.
So she prescribed me a little drug called Pentazocine which I had heard of before and new it was a opiate. It also had Naloxone in it too which I had heard of before but didn't know anything about. So I was excited and glad she had given me a second chance. I picked up my Rx and went home to enjoy some pain relief and relaxation. Boy was I in for a trip, a BAD one.
Turns out that Naloxone is an opiate receptor antagonist which means it blocks your feel good centres in your brain! If you try to abuse pentazocine/naloxone it will actually make you feel like you're withdrawaling from opiates even though it has opium in it!!!
After I popped a few I started feeling really bad so I did some research on the internet and found out what it really was. I was so pissed and I felt betrayed by my doctor. I've never been back to the hospital since.
Maybe she was trying to help lower my tolerance to opiates and bring my recoptors back to normal so that on my follow up visit she could prescribe some REAL narcs. Or maybe she's a vindictive, malicious bitch and I should bend her over and punish her on her desk the next time I see her!

Okay so enough of the story. I was cleaning out my drawers tonight and I came across the bottle of pentazocine/naloxone and I got a brilliant (or not so brilliant) idea. What if I could somehow remove the naloxone, through some simple chemistry, and walla, enjoy the pentazocine as it was meant to be enjoyed. I know very little about chemistry but I know that people have been modifying narcotic pain killers for years. The whole point of adding naloxone to the pentazocine in the first place was because people had found ways to make it stronger and were abusing it. The naloxone stopped that! I mean who wants to feel like they're comming off a bad heroin binge! Not worth the effort, I wouldn't reccomend that experience to anyone.
So if anyone has any ideas as to how I might be able to alter this drug for use, please share! Thanks in advance.
