Purple Stems

Ok so the other day i got some really really good bud and there were about 7-8 seeds in the bagg (got a half o) really nice big nugs full of crystals light bright green so i decided to plant the seeds in my back yard and yesterday they sprouted but today they were above ground to see the stems and the weird thing about them is that theyre very purple not the leaves but the stem is this normal?

Stems on seedlings are usually purple and should change to a normal color later.

do you think indies color blue and dark purple green also?> dont know Ive just seem to notice that. While all the tropic ones are light green from start to finish? might just be me? havent had every stain.. wish I could though..lol.

You know there are some color varitions which naturally occur. For the most part I just chalked it up to a regional dirt diet.

But O Man!! If I Hit the lotto and I am off to the seedbank!!

I have a funny story, I rearly keep leaf, its dirt to me. so I was in the garden room and I was redin up and there was this bucket o'leaf there and I dumped it into this old soil pot. and then I dump this nasty water I had in a spray bottle in that. Low and to my behold MOLD was growing in the pot a couple days later, all cobwebby like. I was like thats weird, you could still see green lumps off leaf in the piles. and I though of some of the nastiest mexican brick you could think off with a Ammonia smell for better visualization... lol and that what I though of that... funny huh.. I threw it outside.
But now Im wondering if it has mutated and become something else because I looked and it was gone.:hysterica It Could be wonder around somewhere. Hope nobody smokes it.. lol..

Save the leaf and trim for bubble bagging in the future :)

I think a ground hog muched it up. they fuck up my peat soil digging and thats right where I put it, but I have ditched dirt in place where people can find it and its usually gone... :puke:Id never smoke it..

close bud nipping never wasted, not the best but still good when your out..Im gona have to invest in a shrink wrapper I think curing would be more a breeze if I had Air tight seals...
but masons are working for now. Just not getting compression, and Id like to flatten the bud by air and store them, not thats theres much to store but still.

Is that what you mean bill? by bubble bags? I have to keep my indoor room under 5 full growns or 25 clones. just better management.

For curing mason jars are the best. You have to open and close, open and close for a while and they always stay fresh. The problem with plastic is that the trichomes tend to get knocked off and stick to the plastic (look at the poor baggie commercial comes in). But yeah for long term storage the shrink wrap would work great.

Bubble bags are an extraction tool for making hash. Leaf, trim, popcorn buds can all be processed. A set is ~$150 or so but well worth the money. Just dry and save up the material and then every 4 months spend a few hours turning trash to stash!

Basically: Dry material is mixed with ice and water allowed to sit and cool. A mixer is used to agitate and knock off the trichomes. The trichomes get filtered through the silk screen mesh leaving the plant material for disposal and the trichomes to be seperated by smaller meshed silk screen by pouring the remaining liquid through.

It works and is fantastic! Good investment for your head :)

oh wow, like a I didnt know that," Bubble Bags" I alway just make generic hash you know, big glass table and a shakedown of fresh cut. Kinda like how they seperate the chafe from the grain< if thats how that goes, While holding the fresh bud over the table you wack it into your palms of you hand, the tri"s come of that are loose and you do this intill your bud becomes to dry and leaf mass is coming off, takes practice. But worth it..

but yes I will def Look into that, should of used my sh'engine but I dont drive to well when Im this stoned. But thats thing with good convos. Learn something from someone else. :)
