The thread you linked is about planting and growing the seeds, then eating the resulting cactus, if that's what you mean? As to what it is like, I don't know, never tried it.

you're going to need to grow peyotes for years before you can harvest them.

DUDE the button is the main body of the plant it's not the seed.
So you don't eat the seeds bro you eat the button, well you have to cut it up and dry or else you're just gonna die. Well you wont die but you'll be puking for a while. I KNOW FROM XP. However i didnt grow it and the button was small a lil wider than my palm. I made a tea with my button, and yes it tastes awful but i didnt have to much on that bitter button eww. I didnt feel anything for an hour besides a lil sick.

yea, ive never had the oppurtunity to try Peyote, i took a micro dot once, the guy said it was mescaline, but it was really like an acid trip.. so im not sure if it was real, i heard mesc was little different then cid.
but yea, you eat the buttons, which over-time develop on the top of the cactus.
ive never heard of anyone eating 'seeds' or referring to them as 'seeds'..
are u on LSD.. mike? hehe :>

It was def not mescaline since it's impossible to fit a couple of 100mgs of mesc. into a micro dot. It was 'cid, prob., or an rc.

Yeh man the Peyote seeds are just for growing not for eating :) as for the san pedro i think you will need a bit more than an inch, not sure on the legality of them over here in Australia but you should be able to pick a grown one up somewhere, there is a few dried ones on ebay.
3-4 5cm buttons is a good start :) seeds will not make you trip.

I bought some peyote seeds today. you can eat em? I would waste em. It will take me years to grow. I think I will grow san pedros from seed as well and then graft the peyote to the trich. when the peyote button gets good growth. I will take the large growth cut at the bast of the peyote and plant it in the ground. It should take root like san pedro cuttings and I will have a full grown button that spawns new growth (buttons, mmmm buttons!).

I’ve read that you can graft them onto a san pedro and/or cultivate it in a greenhouse to speed up the effect. But that leads me to this question. Is it possible to propagate it to create a genetic clone as you would with a san pedro cactus? And I don’t want to get ahead of myself here , but if that is possible , would it be possible to create some sort of hybrid cactus?

It is good that folks are asking questions. People need to ask questions. It's kind of hard to figure out where to start on this thread, so I'll just throw out a random thought, I've heard that you can graft Lophophora williamsii to Myrtillocactus geometrizans too. Good luck everybody!
